This article is about a location in Kamen Rider Gotchard. |
New Earth (新地球, Aratana Chikyū) is a new planet that resembles Earth. It is the current home of Chemies, and is overseen by Houtaro Ichinose and his allies.
Overview[]
The New Earth is created by Kamen Rider Gotchard Ultima Steamhopper by using his alchemy powers, merging all of the Dreatroopers and the gold caused by Glion on the Earth together and transmuting them.
The surface of the New Earth is identical to Earth. It is located near the Earth's orbit. Because it's a creation made of alchemy, the planet is massless and will not have any effect on the rotation and orbital revolution of the Earth, or the orbital revolution of other astronomical bodies in the solar system.
The environment on the planet is exactly the same as Earth. Not only can the Chemies live without stress, the atmosphere is also suitable for humans to breathe normally, and the gravity is exactly the same as on Earth. People on Earth can visit to the New Earth through a door-like portal.
History[]
In the final battle with Kamen Rider Eld, Houtaro's Gotchardriver was destroyed, and all Chemies were glided by Eld's power, resulting in Houtaro being unable to transform anymore. Houtaro himself was also hit by the giant Dreatrooper's beam and gilded by the latter. However, after thinking about his friends, he rekindled his determination and broke Eld's power with his own hands, shattering the gold on his body, and successfully transmuted the gold fallen from his body into a new Gotchardriver.
With the new driver, Houtaro transformed into Kamen Rider Gotchard Ultima Steamhopper, using his alchemy to transmute all the Dreatroopers and the gold created by Eld's power, merging together to create the New Earth. Gotchard then brought Eld from Earth to the New Earth, where Houtaro eventually defeated Glion with all the Chemies' powers, with the Chemies staying on the New Earth.
A few months later, Houtaro and his allies decided to visit to New Earth to conduct an on-site investigation to see if it was suitable for human survival, moving towards the goal of coexistence between humans and Chemy.
Aftermath[]
The action of Glion's final plan was reversed by Houtaro's alchemy, which disappeared from the public's eyes with no casualties or property damaged, leaving behind no evidence. People were unable to accept a reality that was so far removed from common sense, so some kind of logical cover story was developed, and alchemy was treated as an occult practice. The discussion of Chemy and alchemy, which caused such a fuss, also faded away when the Chemy went to the New Earth.[1]
