This article is about a/an web episode in Kamen Rider Zi-O.

Mouri vs. Shimoyama (モーリ対シモヤマ Mōri Tai Shimoyama) is the tenth episode of Kamen Rider Zi-O: Supplementary Plan. It was released on TTFC accompanying the tenth episode of Kamen Rider Zi-O as its "episode 10.5".

Recapping the latest episode, Sougo realizes that his character is unlike what he was. Geiz and Tsukuyomi appear and question Sougo. He answers that his character was not supposed to be that aggressive. While Geiz criticizes Sougo, Tsukuyomi agrees with him that her characterization is off as well.

Geiz interrupts the filming and asks for the scripts of the latest episode from a crewman and sees that it was written by Nobuhiro Mouri, instead of by Shimoyama like in the first 8 episodes, so he must have changed the characterizations. Tsukuyomi asks why Mouri is writing Zi-O, and Geiz suspects that since he wrote for Kamen Rider OOO, he must be suitable for this OOO Arc.

Geiz concludes that since Shimoyama was replaced, Mouri can be replaced as well, so he and Tsukuyomi decide to depart to make it happen, but Sougo stops them. He wonders where the director was when the writers messed up the script. Tsukuyomi realizes that the directors themselves are changed too, with at least 7 directors in the first quarter of the series, includes a new director for the upcoming movie (so many that she has a slip of the tongue and has to retake it). As Geiz and Tsukuyomi complain about the number of directors involved, Sougo concludes that it must be a pain for actors to have their characterizations keep changing. In a powerful, literally fiery speech, Sougo proclaims that it is actors' duty to take care of their own characters even when writers and directors are inconsistent. Geiz and Tsukuyomi are moved but then quickly scold him for he is the one who messsed up the most.

Before the episode ends, Geiz accidentally calls Sougo with his actor's name Okuno, so all of them laugh together as the filming is cut.

  • With the conclusion of OOO Arc, this is the first time when returning legends of tributed series (Eiji Hino and Hina Izumi in this case) don't make an appearance at all in any Supplementary Plan episode.
