This article is about a Fangire in Kamen Rider Kiva. |
Able to spray explosive powder from her mouth and armed with a sword, the Moth Fangire (モスファンガイア, Mosu Fangaia) first appeared as her human disguise in 1986 when she fell in love with Otoya Kurenai when he was playing his violin to the flowers in a garden. However, the fact he ignored her broke her heart, and after he was only momentarily distracted by her from another woman until Yuri Aso walked up, she attacked Otoya in her Fangire form. Yuri's interference, however, forces the Moth Fangire to escape, but she vows to get back at Otoya.
She resurfaces later in 2008 as a lawyer, Aya Natsukawa, tracking down Otoya with a list of the other people he victimized 22 years ago other than herself, finding Wataru Kurenai instead to be the bearer of her wrath, sending him to meet the multitude of people wronged by the father he'd always thought was a good man. She later attempts to kill Megumi Aso at a baseball field after Megumi interrupted her attacking a runner. Kiva arrives to save her, but due to Wataru's current crisis at the time with his knowledge of his father's past, the Fangire manages to evade him. But when her two humans accomplices, also victimized by Otoya, decide to bury the hatchet after seeing Wataru's sacrifices to help them, Natsukawa turns on them and kills them. When Wataru arrives, the Moth Fangire reveals herself to Kiva as she overpowers him until the Garulu Saber is summoned, ending her vengeful life with a Garulu Howling Slash and her soul being sealed inside the Castle Doran.
