Midorikawa (緑川), otherwise known as the Mantis Orphnoch (マンティスオルフェノク, Mantisu Orufenoku), was one of the three bounty hunters sent to take back the Faiz Gear.

Midorikawa is a senior bounty hunter over Akai. Once learning the Faiz Gear is at Miyazaki, he and Akai go after it and take the Faiz Gear. Takumi was forced to fight the Mantis Orphnoch until Akai gets the Faiz Gear and uses it to kill Midorikawa.

He attacked a woman at night, before being encountred by Yuji Kiba, who transformed into the Horse Orphnoch and killed him.

- Transformation to Orphnoch: As all his race, he can transform from human to Orphnoch.
- Destroy hearts: As an Orphnoch, he can use his worn tentacle or weapon to eliminate the heart of his victims in a burst of flames.
- Jump: He can jump up to 30 meters.

- Sickles: He can use a pair of knife-like sickles as a weapon that can cut the opponent to eight pieces.
- Excellent Eyesight: Although he has compound eyes, he has excellent eyesight.

Etymology[]
Midorikawa and his bounty hunter partners Akai and Aoki are named after colors, Midorikawa coming from green (緑, midori).

Mantis Orphnoch was designed by Tamotsu Shinohara (篠原 保, Shinohara Tamotsu).
Notes[]
- His design seems to be an homage to Green Mantis, from Android Kikaider.
- His suit was later remodeled into the Flyingfish Orphnoch, but was remodeled back into the Mantis Orphnoch for Kamen Rider 555: Hyper Battle Video.
- He shares his surname with Ruriko Midorikawa and her father Hiroshi Midorikawa from the original Kamen Rider series.
