The Metalshaft (メタルシャフト, Metaru Shafuto) is an extendable quarter staff used by Kamen Rider Double when he assumes any form that uses the Metal Memory.
Users[]
- Kamen Rider Double
- CycloneMetal
- HeatMetal
- LunaMetal
Combination[]
Metalshaft can also combine with Double's Memory Gadgets as well.
History[]
Finishing his battle with Nobuhiko Tsukikage in the World of Decade, Double assumed HeatMetal and used the Metalshaft to send Shadow Moon flying into the Dai-Shocker Castle, leaving him to be destroyed with the Castle by the All Rider Kick. [Kamen Rider Decade: All Riders vs. Dai-Shocker]
Having been summoned to the world within the Magic Stone by Haruto, Double assumed HeatMetal and wielded the Metalshaft against a trio of Masquerade Dopants while Fourze fought three Stardust Ninja Dustards. [The Kamen Rider Rings]
Finishers[]
When the Metal Memory is placed into the Metalshaft's Maximum Slot, Double can execute one of three different Rider Thrust Maximum Drive finishers depending on his current form.
- HeatMetal - Metal Branding (メタルブランディング, Metaru Burandingu): Double causing one or both ends of the Metalshaft to ignite on fire and deliver a final blow to the opponent. A variation of this attack is the Steam Metal Branding (スチームメタルブランディング, Suchīmu Metaru Burandingu), a tandem attack used in combination with Kamen Rider Accel's Engineblade which is only seen in the Hyper Battle DVD.
- CycloneMetal - Metal Twister (メタルツイスター, Metaru Tsuisutā): Kamen Rider Double spins around while swinging the Metalshaft covered in an aura of wind.
- LunaMetal - Metal Illusion (メタルイリュージョン, Metaru Iryūjon): Kamen Rider Double spins the Metalshaft around to create golden rings that float around Kamen Rider Double, before unleashing them upon the target all at once.
When Stag Phone attaches to the Metalshaft, it allows Kamen Rider Double to perform the Metal Stag Break (メタルスタッグブレイク, Metaru Sutaggu Bureiku) Maximum Drive, crushing the Dopant between two pincer-like energy projections emitted from the Metalshaft.
