I got some pictures of the Parka Ghosts of Musashi, Edison, and Robin Hood posing with their respective historical figure next to them from the Kamen Rider Fanfic Wikipedia. What should I do with them?(if anything).
Excuse me, but I think I've found an unnecesary page called Kiarato Nakamura which was created by AsatoMoneyGang. I also asked them if it was needed first, because I don't wanna be wrong about it. So if in consideration, would you or one of the other admins be able to take a look.
Not unfair, I was not aware of the patent at the time and thought it was a fanwork. I have corrected it having found the information verifying its authenticity. Also, we only need one logo, duplicates were removed.
I find that a poor excuse. As as administrator you should be fully aware and updated on facts, especially with patents like the logo, which I got from Tokusatsunetwork.com. I will admit I forgot to provide a reference, but still.
In any case, the one I uploaded had better resolution than the one thats currently on the site. Please fix this. Thanks.
recently, Gokyr want someone to create new page Bluefin Brands along with Team Kamen Rider, and i was wondering if you could gave the information of those two since this stuff were requested from Gokyr himself.
As explicitly told, novels of some series like Kiva, Decade, etc. take place in an alternate timeline than the TV Series. So should separate the details of novels from the characters (For example, Tsukasa Kadoya/Novel) or just leave them like that due to lack of information?
I wouldn't mind pages like these, but yeah the main problem is that information about the novels are very incredibly scarce since some of them are still untranslated and we have to rely on Japanese readers who've talked about the novels.
I've also thought about making a "/" page for the Super Movie War Genesis characters since the Ghost novel said the film takes place in an alternate timeline, but like I said, information about novels are incredibly scarce and it would be more safe to verify these facts.
Hey Aldo. i just want to let you know that someone (who was blocked by you guys) create similar wikia like this and copy everything to that wikia from our wikia. i just want to ask if you want to discuss this with other admins and possibly report that wikia.
I will not have a condesending argument today and you are skating on VERY thin ice with that tone.
After a review of what has been going on, I agree with Gokyr's assessment of compromise on translations, that is final.
Now now, take the time to chill out a bit, since I assume both of you are spending most of your time at home now in light of the current outbreak. (Things are a little bit different where I am but that's beside the point.)
In any case, I plan on doing a write-up within the next few days (or weeks depending on my motivation). A proposal, so to speak, on how to treat different forms of media, sources and translations by dividing them into different tiers of canonicity. Once I am finished with the first draft, I will put it up for discussion amongst the editors so that a compromise can be made. Deal?
Basically, Shout! Factory is just an authorized sub with no more official than other sources, so if a sub is really so more official, then you are saying Hong Kong TV subs and China Tencent subs are so as "more superior" than other source?
In fact, every episode feature 3 different spelling for the monsters, I can see Doctor Shinigami, Doctor Reaper, and Doctor Death in episode 68. So, how do we ensure Shout! Factory is a high quality source when they don't really can do consistency?
The VERY thin point is that someone is already grabbing the sub to change for "Kamen Rider One" and "Shocker Combatants", which is always not the case for every source in the past. I don't even think "Kamen Rider One" and "Combatant" were even common translations, even google trying to auto correct me when I search the words.
A quick search on the web has shown that people have found issues with Shout Factory's previous tokusatsu releases like Super Sentai. Shout outsources the translation work to translation houses, so I'm not very sure about how their translation quality fares (psst the big Ohranger hoo-haa). Fans have noted that Shout's quality on Sentai subs has improved quite recently though (possibly due to them swapping translation houses).
With Rider being a new project, my guess is that Shout would likely have outsourced the series to a different translation house to avoid clashing with Sentai, so the reliability of the translations are very rocky at best.
