Puzzle Gamer Level 50 (パズルーゲーマーレベル50, Pazurū Gēmā Reberu Fifuti) is Para-DX's primary form, activated by turning the Gashat Gear Dual to the Perfect Puzzle Side. This form is based on puzzle games.

Para-DX's Puzzle Gamer attack style is to manipulate the Energy Items on the field. He can reveal hidden Energy Items and choose the best Energy Items that suits him depending on the situation he is in.

He is also able to generate puzzle piece-styled energy shields to deflect enemy attacks and generate a puzzle pieced-styled veil to cancel some abilities of other Riders. For example, in Episode 20, he used this ability to make the Bugster Viruses summoned by Brave Fantasy Gamer Level 50 disappear.

This form of Para-DX has the following parts:

  • PD Head-PUZ 50 (PDヘッド-PUZ50, PD Heddo-PUZ50) - Kamen Rider Para-DX Puzzle Gamer Level 50 head.
    • Eye Light Scope (アイライトスコープ, Ai Raito Sukōpu) - Kamen Rider Para-DX's "eyes". It can emit light for night battles and can also capture images comparable to a high- speed camera. It can also observe microscopic Bugster Virus.
    • Perfector Signal (パーフェクターシグナル, Pāfekutā Shigunaru) - It can capture and identify motion and set tracking markers automatically. The radar on the internal monitor shows the positions of enemies, allies and energy items.
    • Logical Ride Hair (ロジカルライドヘアー, Rojikaru Raido Heā) - Kamen Rider Para-DX Puzzle Gamer's "hair". It is modelled after the player character of Perfect Puzzle and is coated with a blast-resistant coating.
    • Puzzlout Goggle (パズラウトゴーグル, Pazurauto Gōguru) - Kamen Rider Para-DX Puzzle Gamer's goggles. It is equipped with a special transmission sensor to locate enemies hidden in cover. It can also analyze enemy equipment and suit condition to attack their weak points.
    • High Mech Guard (ハイメックガード, Hai Mekku Gādo) - Armored parts on Kamen Rider Para-DX's head. It can absorb heat generated by the body and convert it into usable energy and store it.
  • P Mech Life Guard (Pメックライフガード, P Mekku Raifu Gādo) - Kamen Rider Para-DX's chest armor. It disperses damage throughout the body to protect the chest. It becomes more protective the lower the rider's health.
  • Selected Monitor (セレクテッドモニター, Serekuteddo Monitā) - Graphic monitor on Kamen Rider Para-DX's chest. It displays an image of the game "Perfect Puzzle".
  • Dual Gear Suit (デュアルギアスーツ, De~yuaru Gia Sūtsu) - Kamen Rider Para-DX's bodysuit. It increases the rider's physical capability by strenghtening the body. The balance is adjusted based on the form. The balance for Puzzle Gamer is focused on speed and agility.
  • Para-DX Buckle (パラドクスバックル, Paradokusu Bakkuru) - Kamen Rider Para-DX's belt.
  • Materialize Shoulder (マテリアライズショルダー, Materiaraizu Shorudā) - Kamen Rider Para-DX Puzzle Gamer's shoulder pads. There is a built-in device called a Material Controller (マテリアコントローラー, Materia Kontorōrā) that can manipulate elements in the game area. It also makes it possible to combine energy items to create new effects.
  • PD Growth Arm (PDグロウスアーム, PD Gurousu Āmu) - Kamen Rider Para-DX's arms. It has a function called Gain Riser (ゲインライザー, Gein Raizā) that increases combat capabilities based on the rider's level and combat experience. The arms specialize in high-speed, precise motions to target enemies's weak points.
  • Direct Hit Glove (ダイレクトヒットグローブ, Dairekuto Hitto Gurōbu) - Kamen Rider Para-DX's gloves. It coordinates with the Gashacon weapons to optimize attacks. It also injects a program to temporarily stop the defense system of the suit to score a direct hit damage.
  • PD Growth Leg (PDグロウスレッグ, PD Gurousu Reggu) - Kamen Rider Para-DX's legs. It has a function called Gain Riser (ゲインライザー, Gein Raizā) that increases combat capabilities based on the rider's level and combat experience. They allow for light footwork and attacks with continuous techniques unilaterally.
  • Direct Hit Shoes (ダイレクトヒットシューズ, Dairekuto Hitto Shūzu) - Kamen Rider Para-DX's shoes. It allows the rider to move at high speeds as if he has teleported. It also injects a program to temporarily stop the defense system of the suit to score a direct hit damage.
  • Para Build Guard (パラビルドガード, Para Birudo Gādo) - Kamen Rider Para-DX's golden guard pieces. The heat resistance rises when exposed to heat, and it becomes more durable by changing the structure of parts according to the damage received. Not only that, the device inside rewrites the Gain Riser and dramatically increases attack and defense.

This form's finisher is the Perfect Critical Combo (パーフェクト クリティカルコンボ, Pāfekuto Kuritikaru Konbo): Para-DX mainly combines his attacks with several Energy Items.

Presumably, the maximum use of Energy Items for his attacks in this form are three. Currently, Para-DX hasn't used more than three Energy Items for an attack while in this form.

  • Jumping and Elastic Energy Items: Para-DX kicks the enemy in mid-air using his feet enhanced flexibility.
  • Speeding-Up and Muscular Energy Items: Para-DX rushes towards the enemy at superhuman speeds and kicks them away when close.
  • Muscular Energy Item x3: Para-DX rushes towards the enemy and performs a powerful flying kick at them with his tremendous feet enhanced strength.

  • Speeding-Up, High-Jump, and Muscular Energy Items: Para-DX runs at the enemy, sending it high into the sky, then high-jumps after it, and delivers several powerful kicks.

Perfect Knock Out Gamer Level 99

"Gachan! Mazaru Up! Akai kobushi tsuyosa! Aoi puzzle rensa! Aka to ao no kousa! Perfect Knock Out!"
―Transformation Announcement[src]
Rider Statistics
  • Height: 201.0 cm.
  • Weight: 102.1 kg.
Ability Parameters
  • Punching power: 90 t.
  • Kicking power: 94.4 t.
  • Maximum jump height: 92.6 m.
  • Maximum running speed: 100 m. per 1.2 sec.

Perfect Knock Out Gamer Level 99 (パーフェクトノックアウトゲーマーレベル99, Pāfekuto Nokkuauto Gēmā Reberu Nainti Nain) is Para-DX's final form, achieved by utilizing the Gashat Gear Dual in the Gamer Driver. This form combines aspects of Puzzle Gamer and Fighter Gamer.

In this form, despite Para-DX's stats being slightly lower than Ex-Aid's Level 99, his amazing combat skills fill the gap, putting him on par with Ex-Aid and easily towering all the other Riders in every stat, including some Riders that have the stats of Level X.

As the form's name suggests, this form combines the physical strength of Knock Out Fighter and the defensive abilities of Perfect Puzzle, along with the ability to combine Energy Items as well.

This form does seem to have the ability to manipulate the Energy Items like Puzzle Gamer, as shown when he first fought Snipe using this form.

The main weapon of Para-DX in this form is the Gashacon Parabragun (ガシャコンパラブレイガン, Gashakon Parabureigan), which can switch between a gun and a hand axe.

Before its debut, Para-DX Level 99 was briefly seen in the new opening sequence.

At first, this form could not be accessed as Bugsters are unable to use a Gamer Driver that were specifically made for humans to use. However, by tricking Emu to use Maximum Mighty X's reprogramming ability on him, fusing their genes together while the two's genetic makeup were one through Mighty Brothers XX, Parado can now use the Driver and transform into this form at will.

By inserting the Mighty Brothers XX Gashat into the Gashacon Parabragun, Para-DX can split into both of his Level 50 forms. The Puzzle Gamer gains mannerisms similar to Emu's soft-spoken nature, while the Fighter Gamer retains Parado's regular fun-loving demeanor.

Perfect Knock Out Gamer Level 99 consists of the following parts:

  • PD Head-PK 99 (PDヘッド-PK99, PD Heddo-PK99) - Kamen Rider Para-DX Perfect Knockout Gamer Level 99 Head.
    • Red Eye Light Scope (レッドアイライトスコープ, Reddo Ai Raito Sukōpu) - Kamen Rider Para-DX's "right eye". It can emit light for night battles and can also capture images comparable to a high- speed camera. It can observe enemies' movement and decide on the appropriate counterattack.
    • Blue Eye Light Scope (ブルーアイライトスコープ, Burū Ai Raito Sukōpu) - Kamen Rider Para-DX's "left eye". It can emit light for night battles and can also capture images comparable to a high- speed camera. It can analyze the condition of the enemies' suit and attack their weak points.
    • PK Dual Signal (PKデュアルシグナル, PK De~yuaru Shigunaru) - It can capture and identify motion and set tracking markers automatically. The radar on the internal monitor shows the positions of enemies, allies and energy items.
    • Muzzle Ride Hair (マザライドヘアー, Maza Raido Heā) - Kamen Rider Para-DX Perfect Knockout Gamer's "hair". It is modelled after a mix of the player characters from Perfect Puzzle and Knockout Fighter and is coated with a blast-resistant coating.
    • Golden Goggles (ゴルデンゴーグル, Goruden Gōguru) - Kamen Rider Para-DX Perfect Knockout Gamer's goggles. It has a sensor to find enemy hidden in cover and increase the response speed of the vision sensor.
    • Shut High Guard (シャットハイガード, Shatto Hai Gādo) - Armored parts on Kamen Rider Para-DX Perfect Knockout Gamer's head. It can absorb heat generated by the body and convert it into usable energy and store it.
  • PK-Mech Life Guard (PK-メックライフガード, PK-Mekku Raifu Gādo) - Kamen Rider Para-DX Perfect Knockout Gamer's chest armor. It disperses damage throughout the body to protect the chest. It becomes more protective the lower the rider's health.
  • Rider Gauge (ライダーゲージ, Raidā Gēji) - A lifebar that shows the rider's health. When the gauge runs out, the rider will die.
  • Mix Gear Suit (ミクスギアスーツ, Mikusu Gia Sūtsu) - Kamen Rider Para-DX Perfect Knockout Gamer's bodysuit. It increases the rider's physical capability by strengthening the body. The adjustments are focused on aggressiveness, defense and reaction time, and the combat strength is scaled according to the user's skill.
  • Fi-Right Shoulder (ファイライトショルダー, Fai Raito Shorudā) - Kamen Rider Para-DX Perfect Knockout Gamer's right shoulder. A special device called a Material Burner (マテリアバーナー, Materia Bānā) that allows Para-DX to use flame attacks.
  • Puz-Left Shoulder (パズレフトショルダー, Pazu Refuto Shorudā) - Kamen Rider Para-DX Perfect Knockout Gamer's left shoulder. A special device called a Material Controller (マテリアコントローラー, Materia Kontorōrā) that allows Para-DX to manipulate and combine Energy Items to create new effects.
The arms specialize in high-speed, precise motions to target enemies' weak points.
  • Smash Combo Glove (ダイレクトヒットグローブ, Dairekuto Hitto Gurōbu) - Kamen Rider Para-DX's gloves. It coordinates with the Gashacon weapons to optimize attacks. It can also bypass the enemies' armor using a device called a Damage Impulser (ダメージインパルサー, Damēji Inparusā).
  • Gold Build Guard (ゴルビルドガード, Goru Birudo Gādo) - Kamen Rider Para-DX's golden guard pieces. The heat resistance rises when exposed to heat, and it becomes more durable by changing the structure of parts according to the damage received. Not only that, the device inside rewrites the Gain Riser and dramatically increases attack and defense.

This form has mainly five finishers:

  • Gamer Driver Finishers
  • Perfect Critical Combo (パーフェクト クリティカルコンボ, Pāfekuto Kuritikaru Konbo)
  • Knock Out Critical Smash (ノックアウトクリティカルスマッシュ, Nokkuaoto Kuritikaru Sumasshu): Para-DX delivers a powerful Rider Punch at the enemy covered in red and purple energy.
  • Perfect Knock Out Critical Bomber (パーフェクトノックアウトクリティカルボンバ, Pāfekuto Nokkuauto Kuritikaru Bonbā): Para-DX jumps up in the air and performs a powerful Rider Kick covered in red and blue energy.
  • Gashacon Parabragun finisher:
    • Para-DX mainly combines his attacks with some Energy Items. Presumably, the maximum use of Energy Items for his attacks in this form are two. Currently, Para-DX hasn't used more than two Energy Items for an attack while in this form.
      • Ax: Knock Out Critical Finish (ノックアウトクリティカルフィニッシュ, Nokkuaoto Kuritikaru Finisshu)
        • Speeding-Up and Muscular Energy Items: Para-DX speeds up to the enemy and delivers a powerful slash.
      • Gun: Perfect Critical Finish (パーフェクトクリティカルフィニッシュ, Pāfekuto Kuritikaru Finisshu)
        • Iron-Body and Separation Energy Items: Para-DX creates clones of himself and performs several powerful consecutive blasts.
        • Dangerous Zombie Gashat: Para-DX gets consumed painfully by purple and black dark energy, before transferring the energy to the weapon, creating a powerful dark energy blast at the enemy.

Perfect Knock Out Gamer Level 99's theme song is entitled "Real Game".

Behind the Scenes[]

  • Para-DX is derived from the word Paradox (パラドックス, Paradokkusu), though without the sokuon () katakana.
  • Para-DX can also be wordplay for both "paramedic" and "diagnosis" (often abbreviated as "DX").
  • The DX is also an abbreviation for "Deluxe", referring to certain first-class toys.

Notes[]

  • Kamen Rider Para-DX is the only Kamen Rider to have two starting Main Forms, though Puzzle Gamer Level 50 is commonly shown first in some media due to being the first form being used.
    • Puzzle Gamer and Fighter Gamer were intended to be separate Kamen Riders. However, to limit the number of cast members and even out each faction in the series, Parado was chosen to transform into two types of Kamen Riders.[1]
    • Since its reveal, Para-DX's Level 99 form would later be shown as his "default" form in promotional material.
  • Kamen Rider Para-DX is the first Ex-Aid Rider to not have a gamepad like Rider Gauge in any of his default forms, instead only having one in his upgraded Level 99 form.
    • Kamen Rider Para-DX is also the first Ex-Aid Rider to not have any of the basic Level 1 to Level 3 forms, instead skipping straight to Level 50 instead.
  • Fighter Gamer Level 50 demonstrates the ability to launch a wave of fire along the ground, similar to the "ground fireballs" seen most prominently in fighting games by SNK such as the Fatal Fury and King of Fighters series of games (such as Terry Bogard's Power Wave, Geese Howard's Reppuken, and Kyo Kusanagi's 108 Shiki Yami Barai).
