Master Gamano (ガマノ師匠, Gama no Shishō) is the ninjutsu teacher of Rentaro Kagura.
History[]
In 2022, Master Gamano saved Rentaro Kagura's life and gives him a gourd and its power to transform into Kamen Rider Shinobi. He lives with the Kaguras in their house and is often consulted by Rentaro regarding matters. Due to him being disguised as a frog in a wall scroll, Rentaro's sister Iroha is not aware of his presence.

Master Gamano is portrayed by Nobuo Kyo (姜 暢雄, Kyō Nobuo), whom previously portrayed Kaoru Tsugami/Horse Fangire in Kamen Rider Kiva and Einosuke Mido/Kamen Rider Amazon Neo Alpha in Kamen Rider Amazons: The Last Judgement, as well as Isshuu Kasumi
/KuwagaRaiger, a ninja Sentai hero in Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger.
Etymology[]
His name is play on "Master of Toad" (蟆の師匠, Gama no Shishō).

- At the end of the third and final episode of Rider Time: Kamen Rider Shinobi, Gamano's ally status becomes highly dubious, with his monologue strongly hinting Gamano to be manipulating Rentaro as a "expendable pawn", similar to Sou Fueki in Kamen Rider Wizard. However due to the special's limited production, very little is revealed about Gamano's identity and motives, other than him supposedly being Rentaro's ally.
- Due to his appearance in the painting, Keiwa Sakurai initially thought he was Kekera.
