This article is about a villain in Kamen Rider Zero-One. |
Masamitsu Yuto (由藤 政光, Yuto Masamitsu) is a politician who is hired by ZAIA Enterprise to compete against MC Che.ck-It-Out.
History[]
Masamitsu Yuto is a corrupt politician who advocated the abolition of the Humagear. He is supported by the "Anti-Humagear Committee" and the "Meeting to Protect Employment from Humagear", and cooperated with ZAIA Enterprise Japan in the fifth and final round of the Workplace Competition. He started his activities in opposition to the Humagear Autonomous City concept, but MC Che.ck-It-Out exposed him for accepting bribes. Yuto and his colleagues anticipated that the bribery would be used against him at the "Humagear Autonomous City Concept Public Debate" the next day, and created a fake alibi video claiming he was in the office during that time. At the debate, he complained that the documentary footage of MC Che.ck-It-Out was a forgery, angering the Humagear to the point of becoming the Dodo Magia.
After MC Che.ck-It-Out was destroyed, the Humagear Autonomous City concept was rejected. The fifth round of the Workplace Competition was won by the ZAIA Enterprise Japan, and Masamitsu Yuto was not exposed to his injustices.
Personality[]
Though Masamitsu is a very scheming person, he is not as careful as Gai Amatsu and shows his emotions more openly. He accepts any kind of dirty work, but as long as the payment is intriguing for him. He is also quick to panic when things doesn't go as he wants, as seen when MC Che.ck-It-Out exposed his wrongdoings. However, like many modern corrupt political figures, he often shifts the blame or misdirects the public from the truth, including using the "fake media" excuse when exposed by Hiden for taking a bribe from ZAIA. He also uses the people's need for jobs to manipulate them into accepting his anti-Humagear rhetoric.
Behind the Scenes[]
Portrayal[]
Masamitsu Yuto is portrayed by Gou Oshio (大塩 ゴウ, Oshio Go).
Notes[]
- Masamitsu is the only ZAIA Japan's ZAIA Spec representative to continue his disliking for Humagears.
- Masamitsu is the second ZAIA representative to have won through cheating. Unlike Tatsumi Arayashiki, he gladly accepted his dirty victory while Tatsumi unwillingly accepted his dirty victory.
