- This episode premiered on the seventh birthday of actor Yoji Matsuda, who played Masahiko Okamura. In addition, the actress Shiho, who played Tomoko Nozama, named in homage to Amazon, in Kamen Rider Fourze, would be born on the 18th anniversary of this series premiere.
- Though none of the previous five Kamen Riders would appear in the series, Masahiko notes that Amazon is "like Kamen Rider" when he transforms, leading to him referring to Amazon's transformed state as "Amazon Rider", which would be used by other characters including the Jyumenki himself. Rider mentor Tobee Tachibana would appear two episodes later, while Amazon wouldn't be seen fighting alongside his predecessors until the last episodes of his successor series Kamen Rider Stronger.
