The Production Model Mach Driver (量産型マッハドライバー, Ryōsan-gata Mahha Doraibā) is a mass produced version of the Mach Driver Honoh created by Rinna Sawagami and intended to be used by members of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department to transform into the Kamen Rider Mach Production Model. Jun Honganji was the first person to use the Driver, and deemed himself "Kamen Rider Jun" (仮面ライダー 純, Kamen Raidā Jun) upon transformation. However, he was unable to move due to the core flaws in the system. Soon afterwards, Gold Drive destroyed most of the Production Model Drivers, ending plans for a mass production program and rendering Jun the only user of the system.
In Kamen Rider Drive: Final Stage, Genpachiro Otta used a Production Model Mach Driver and called himself "Kamen Rider Genpachiro" (仮面ライダー 現八郎, Kamen Raidā Genpachirō).
Design[]
The Mach Driver Honoh is composed of the following parts:[1]
- Boost Igniter (ブーストイグナイター, Būsuto Igunaitā): The boost switch on top of the Driver. It releases the compressed energy accumulated in the Driver at once and puts the combat system into a high operating state temporarily. By pressing the button up to four times, each function can shift to the critical operating state.
- Frame Wing Guard (フレームウィンガード, Furēmu Wingādo): A guard part that houses the Key Landing Panel, it is what surrounds the exposed parts of the inserted Tokujo-ka Key, preventing it from accidentally falling off in battle.
- Key Landing Panel (キーランディングパネル, Kī Randingu Paneru): The multi-purpose panel placed in the center of the Mach Driver Production Model. It reads the abilities and information of items such as the Tokujo-ka Key and transfer the characteristics to Kamen Rider Mach Production Model.
- Ability Window (アビリティウィンドゥ, Abiriti Windu): The circular window placed in the center of the Mach Driver Production Model. Icons such as the Tokujo-ka Key loaded in the Driver are displayed.
- Cylinder Amplifier (シリンダーアンプリファイア, Shirindā Anpurifaia): The energy amplification device installed in the Mach Driver Production Model. It uses the energy amplification furnace inside the cylinder to amplify the special abilities possessed by the Tokujo-ka Key, etc., and operates all functions at full capacity.
- Aster Metal Muffler (アスターメタルマフラー, Asutā Metaru Mafurā): The shield armor that protects the Mach Driver Production Model. Its durability is enhanced by robust special alloy parts. It is painted in the color of the Aster tataricus, whose flower language is "patience".
Functionality[]
To transform, the user raises the Mach Driver Production Model's loading panel, inserts the Tokujo-ka Key, and pushes it back down.
