This article is about an episode in Kamen Rider, the original series. |
Tokageron and the Big Monster Army (トカゲロンと怪人大軍団, Tokageron to Kaijin Dai Gundan), is the thirteenth episode of the original Kamen Rider series. This episode is Hongo's last appearance until episode 40, and it had a theatrical showing as Go Go Kamen Rider, the first ever Kamen Rider movie.
Synopsis
Resurrected Shocker monsters fail to break into a research lab because of its protective barrier. They create a new monster, Tokageron, to have one powerful enough to use a new weapon to destroy the barrier.
Plot
Resurrected Bat Man and Scorpion Man fail to infiltrate an Atomic Energy Research Lab because it's protected by an electric barrier. Hearing this the Leader orders their scientists to deploy their "Barrier Destruction Ball." Because of its weight and area of effect, however, such a weapon can't presently be used by any of Shocker's monsters. They identify arrogant soccer player Ken Nomoto whose phenomenal kicking power makes him an ideal subject for the new monster they need to use the Barrier Destruction Ball. Shocker's resurrected monsters are sent to capture him, and once he's in their clutches Ken is modified into the monster Tokageron.
