Licht Kugimiya (釘宮 リヒト, Kugimiya Rihito) is a minor antagonist in Kamen Rider Gotchard and the main antagonist of Kamen Rider The Winter Movie: Gotchard & Geats Strongest Chemy★Great Gotcha Operation. He's an investigator from the Alchemys Union, a higher organization of elite alchemists, who transforms into the Wizard Malgam (ウィザードマルガム, Wizādo Marugamu), and later Geats Killer (ギーツキラー, Gītsu Kirā).
History
Background
2000 years ago, Licht Kugimiya was a participant of the Desire Grand Prix but was defeated by one of Ace Ukiyo's past lives. Following his humiliating loss, he began to study alchemy and prepare for his revenge.
Manipulating the Level 10 Chemies
As he arrived at the academy, he saw that Houtaro was not fit to be the Kamen Rider. In reality, he wanted to watch the young man gain control of the Level 10 Chemies, while he formed an alliance with X Wizard.
With his new alliance, he merged himself with several Chemies to become Geats Killer, breaking the Chemy Law. He was later arrested by Minato after being defeated. [Kamen Rider The Winter Movie: Gotchard & Geats Strongest Chemy★Great Gotcha Operation]
As a result of his actions, the Union ultimately decided that the Chemies were dangerous and forced the academy's closure.
Personality
When he was first revealed, Licht was shown to be a cold and serious person who took his role as an investigator seriously. Yet he had shown to look down on Houtaro; finding his idea of how Chemies are friends as odd and saw him as nothing but a weak rookie alchemist. But when it was revealed that he was the mastermind behind the Level-10 Chemy incident, he was shown to be a a malicious person that craved for nothing but power and would manipulate others no matter what consequences happen.
He also saw Chemies as nothing but tools like Supana, but would manipulate them to allow his goals and wishes to be completed as he did with X-Wizard when he brainwashed its friends to allow it to help in his plans and then absorb it with his malice to become the Wizard Malgam.
Such maliciousness stemmed from his hatred for Ace from when he faced one of his past lives during a DGP Tournament in Ancient Greece and felt humiliated when he defeated him but did not get to finish him off. So he showed a great dislike for him and thus vowed vengeance by infiltrating the Alchemist Academy to understand alchemy and gather specific Level-10 Chemies with the help of X-Wizard to destroy Ace.
This very hatred was his downfall as not only was he unable to understand the bonds between humans and Chemies like how Hotarou did, but he also underestimated how Ace’s skill and talent were so great ever since Ancient Greece.

Licht is able to forcefully transmute with X Wizard into the Wizard Malgam (ウィザードマルガム, Wizādo Marugamu) through the usage of forbidden alchemy.

- Nightmare Game (ナイトメアゲーム, Naitomea Gēmu): The Wizard Malgam can create an energy based on its head and shoot out from the space. That energy will release the purple energy and showering its target to trap them into the endless nightmare.

- Jyamato Creation: The Wizard Malgam can use his magic power to create Pawn Jyamatos and Jyamato Riders, unless its magic being purified, otherwise the Jyamatos is unable to defeat.
- Fireballs: The Wizard Malgam can summon fireballs to shoot.
- Entrapment: The Wizard Malgam can trap enemies in rope or ice.
- Flight: The Wizard Malgam can use its magic to fly.
- Energy Sword: The Wizard Malgam can summon portals to fire energy swords.
- Energy Arrow: The Wizard Malgam can summon portals to fire energy arrow.
- Absorption: The Wizard Malgam can create a portal that sucks up everything around it. It can enlarge to envelope the whole city.

After becoming the Wizard Malgam once more, Licht created a wormhole which he used to absorb multiple civilians across the city around him, including Supana, Michinaga, Keiwa, Neon, Renge, Sabimaru, Minato, Tsumuri and the injured Geats Chemy. This allowed him to evolve into Geats Killer (ギーツキラー, Gītsu Kirā).

- Energy Pulse: Geats Killer sends out an invisible pulse of energy to harm enemies.
- Enlargement: Geats Kiler can make himself bigger. using his powers of the Wizard Malgam.

Portrayal
- Licht Kugimiya is portrayed by Yasukaze Motomiya (本宮 泰風, Motomiya Yasukaze), who previously portrayed Isaka in Kamen Rider Blade.
- His suit actors are Kotaro Kaji (鍜治 洸太朗, Kaji Kōtarō) as Geats Killer, and Yasuaki Ishii (石井 靖見, Ishii Yasuaki) as the Wizard Malgam.

The Wizard Malgam was designed by PLEX, while Geats Killer was by Takayuki Takeya.
Etymology
- Kugimiya's name contains the kanji for "nail" (釘, Kugi), which fits the metal element naming of the Alchemys Union members.
- Licht is German for "light".
Notes
- Kugimiya is the first known character to assume a Malgam form with a Number 10 Chemy as well as the first known character to assume a Malgam form with a Job Chemy.
- Geats Killer was called Another Geats (アナザーギーツ, Anazā Gītsu) as a tentative name by the writer Hiroki Uchida while the film was still being written.[3] The name was mistakenly used in an official capacity before it was corrected.[4]
