Legion (レギオン, Region) is a Phantom born from a man called Naitō (内藤, Naitō). Legion is a strong Phantom, with power rivaling that of the Greater Phantoms. However, he was chained by Wiseman in a cave, due to his lust for power. Legion is armed with a special halberd for attacking. His halberd is not only used to attack opponents, but it can also to open Gate's Underworld. Legion doesn't have a specific Gate target, as he will attack any humans that feels happy.

After being in the cave for several months, Gremlin appears in the cave he is chained up in. Gremlin then greets Legion with his human name, Naitō and promises to release him. After being released, Legion begins to attack the humans. However, he encounter Beast, but escapes due to not being interested in Beast. Legion latter attacks a boy named Kenta Miyake. However, Kenta was saved by Haruto. While Wizard battles Legion, Beast also joins the fray. However, even the powers of two magicians is not enough. After, Legion put away Beat, he senses something interesting on Wizard. Legion then uses his halberd to open the gate to Haruto's Underworld. Legion then enter Haruto's Underworld, which leading Haruto greviously injured from inside. Beast then also proceed to Haruto's Underworld to save his rival.

In Haruto's Underworld, Legion encounter WizarDragon, who is soon helped by Beast and Beast Chimaera. Though Legion's body is very small compared to the two inner Phantom, he can overpowered the two with little effort. When Legion is about to finish Beast Chimaera, WizarDragon stepped aside to protect Beast Chimaera. but at the cost of WizarDragon's life. In the real world, Haruto now no longer can use magic.
