The Transformation Belt Legendriver (変身ベルト レジェンドライバー, Henshin Beruto Rejendoraibā) is the transformation device used by Kamen Rider Legend.
Overview[]
The Legendriver is the transformation device of Ho-Oh Kaguya Quartz. It resembles a gilded closed gate, with a card slot in the right side to insert a Ride Chemy Card.
A dimension conversion release machine that can use the built-in secret stone called "Trickster" to release the power of the Legend Rider Chemy Cards that duplicate the power of Kamen Riders that exists in a parallel world.
It also serves as a terminal for the Aurora Curtain System.
Design[]
The Legendriver is composed of the following parts:[1]
- Ride Reader (ライドリーダー, Raido Rīdā): The reader for the card-shaped item Legend Rider Chemy Card.
- Legend Dimension Buckle (レジェンドディメンションバックル, Rejendo Dimenshon Bakkuru): The main unit. A machine within converts the two-dimensional energies sealed within a Legend Rider Chemy Card into three-dimensional physical entities (such as armor and weapons). An internal secret stone named Trickster (トリックスター, Torikkusutā) is used as the power source for creating these three-dimensional entities.
- Fabulous Gate (ファビュラスゲート, Fabyurasu Gēto): The locking mechanism. In its tightly closed state, it deploys an energy shield to eliminate all obstacles. When deployed, it is also connected to the Aurora Curtain System, enabling the full functionality of the Legenddriver.
- Hexagon Peridot (ヘキサゴンペリドット, Hekisagon Peridotto): The green data collection device. In addition to collecting information about surrounding environments, it can also collect information on time and space.
- Superlative Side Handles (スペラティブサイドハンドル, Superatibu Saido Handoru): The activation switches. By pulling the handle to the left or right, the Legend Dimension buckle rotates 90 degrees, simultaneously deploying the Fabulous Gate and executing the "ChemyRide" that releases the Kamen Rider's power sealed in the Legend Rider Chemy Card.
- Paraminate Belt (パラミネートベルト, Paraminēto Beruto): The belt. A pun on the words 'parallel' and 'laminate'. It is composed of special film laminates, each one having special properties (i.e. blade resistance, heat resistance, etc.) Usually stored within the Legendriver when not in use.
Functionality[]
Transformation[]
To transform, Kaguya inserts the Legend Rider Chemy Card into the slot, summoning a gate and golden flakes behind. As he pulls open the driver, the gate turns upright and opens, summoning symbols of past riders, as they form the silhouette of his rider form, which then come together along with several cards that form his helmet and jewels that form the golden sash.
To transform into a Rider, he pulls the tabs to close the gate, and inserts a card into the closet, then pulls the Driver open again, transforming into what Rider the card is based on.
Finisher[]
To do a finishing attack, Legend closes the Driver and opens it again, allowing him either do an attack with his card or an attack based on a Legend Rider Card.

Notes[]
- While the base of the belt and card insertion are based on the Decadriver (albeit inverted with the card insertion), the Legendriver's opening mechanism is more evocative of the Beast Driver, and bears a noticable resemblance to the time doors of Kamen Rider GrandZi-O.
- Legendriver's design concept is the Future Decadriver (未来のディケイドライバー, Mirai no Dikeidoraibā).[2]
- The DX toy release of Legendriver is able to accommodate the Decadriver's central unit, but is unable to fit the K-Touch due to the narrow gap between the Side Handles.
- Additionally, the patent year on the back of the DX Legendriver is still "2009" as it uses the same mold as the original DX Decadriver.
- The Legendriver is the Second Transformation Device in Gotchard to utilize a single Ride Chemy Card to transform into the Rider Form(s), after the Valvarusher, but is the first Device to do so in the form of a belt.
