The Moose Fangire (ムースファンガイア Mūsu Fangaia), also known as Kurosawa, was the Fangire royal family's butler. He promised Maya that he would guard Taiga Nobori, though he was concerned that she was becoming too close with humans. In his Fangire form, he was strong enough to tear through a decimeter of steel and has sharp antlers that can fire energy balls. His true name was The Sun, or a Furrow Carved into a Fisheye (太陽、あるいは魚の目に刻まれた轍 Taiyō, Arui wa Uonome ni Kizamareta Tetsu) and he was from the Beast Class.

In 2008, Kurosawa continued his vow as Taiga's aide in Development and Pioneer while secretly serving as an assassin to eliminate humans who may revolutionize the world. However, when he attempted to kill Mio Suzuki for following the same path as Maya, Taiga disowned Kurosawa and exiled while promising to kill him if he ever interfered again. However, when Kurosawa attempted to kill Numakawa, he was destroyed by Kiva in Emperor Form with the Dogga Hammer.
