This article is about an ally/rider in Kamen Rider Wizard. |
Koyomi (コヨミ ), born Koyomi Fueki (笛木 暦, Fueki Koyomi) is a young girl entrusted to the care of Haruto Soma following The Sabbath. After her death, she was briefly revived and transformed into Kamen Rider Wiseman (仮面ライダーワイズマン, Kamen Raidā Waizuman).
History[]
Childhood[]
As a child, Koyomi had once met Masafumi Saionji, a novelist in despair whom she later give him a flower ring, while encouraging him. Koyomi goes home later with her father as this would be seen by Wizard, who went into the novelist's Underworld.
Illness[]
Some time before the Sabbath, Koyomi was struck with an incurable disease. Her father, Sou Fueki, tried everything to cure her, but failed. Koyomi eventually died. This was the reason Fueki used science and magic to create an artificial Phantom Carbuncle inside him and allow him to become White Wizard. Koyomi had become Fueki's final hope.
The Sabbath[]
In the Sabbath, Fueki gathers lots of Gates, driving them into despair forcefully by using the power of eclipse, in order to utilize the mana they generates when they become Phantoms to revive Koyomi, but the results are not successful as Koyomi was reanimated as a doll that housed a new soul formed from the Philosopher's Stone and had no memories of her previous life. Fueki then entrusted Koyomi to Haruto Soma alongside the Wizardriver and the Wizard Rings, but did not reveal anything about her past, causing Haruto and Wajima thinking that she was another Gate who survives at the Sabbath with her body intact while losing her memories and life to a Phantom. After her resurrection, she obtains the ability to discern between real people and Phantoms. She currently lives at Wajima's shop when not traveling with Haruto.
As a Doll[]
Koyomi requires regular infusions of magical energy to survive; without which she collapses and becomes inanimate. To gain the mana she needs, she utilizes the Please Wizard Ring to draw it from Haruto, but doing this drains Haruto's mana substantially, putting his effectiveness to fight as Kamen Rider Wizard at risk for a certain amount of time, a problem only compounded as her infusions become more and more frequent.
Due to Legion destroying Wizardragon, Haruto could no longer supply Koyomi with mana, she knew that she would die soon, but managed to thank Haruto for everything, just after she finally ran out of mana, Haruto regains his powers, along with gaining Infinity Style, he was then able to restore Koyomi soon after he defeated Legion. [Tears]
Koyomi started to doubt about her own existence, when she hears from Haruto about Gremlin's explanation that the Gate's human body will be completely destroyed when a Phantom is born in the process, causing she feel lost until she was encouraged by Haruto and others again as they recognized Koyomi as a human being. Later it's revealed that Saionji had met Koyomi 10 years ago, long before the Sabbath. Also, after the death of his Inner Phantom in Saionji's Underworld, it is revealed that Koyomi is the daughter of Fueki, White Wizard.
While returning to the Okagedomo Antique Shop, Koyomi faints, having her mana drained faster than before and developing a red crack at her right hand. Wajima quickly contacted Haruto as he used the Please Wizard Ring on Koyomi, which reduced the crack. With Mayu Inamori joins and becomes another magician, Koyomi's mana supply has become stable thanks to her help.
Despite this, the crack continued to grow and her right hand is now completely cracked, she puts on a glove to cover it up so nobody would notice, Haruto ends up finding out and after a failed battle with Sora, Koyomi runs out of mana and is almost kidnapped, but luckily White Wizard shows and saves her, noticing the crack now having spread down to Koyomi's wrist, she is then teleported away with her father. In the alter created by Fueki, Koyomi finally knows her past as Fueki revealed his identity as Koyomi's father, though the mana in her body lose away more quickly due to the affect of the alter, not even the usage of the Please Ring can compensate. Causing Fueki to speed up the process to prepare for the second Sabbath while moving Koyomi to the house of Fueki family.
When Fueki finally gathers the four magician by brainwashing Yuzuru and Yamamoto and having them to capture Haruto and Mayu, he finally starts the second Sabbath to use the restrained magicians as the pillars to turn all the Gates in Tokyo into Phantoms in order to use their mana to completely revive Koyomi, which will kill all the citizens who has no mana in their body. Though Koyomi tries to stop Fueki, the huge flow of mana has driven Koyomi unconscious in the process. However, Nitou as the only person not affected, appears at Koyomi's location and tries to stop the Sabbath, though he was quickly defeated by Fueki. As a last attempt, Nitou counterattacks to grabs the Hamel Cane from Fueki, using it to destroy his own driver in order to release Chimera from his body, who eats all the mana which has not yet entered Koyomi's body, thus ending the second Sabbath. Death[]
After the second Sabbath ends in failure, Haruto who regains freedom, appears and try to take Koyomi away, but his usage of DragonTimer was countered by Fueki's Dupe magic and was defeated by Fueki, who takes Koyomi back to their house. After Koyomi wakes up, she escapes from the house while taking the Infinity Ring which Fueki obtains earlier from Mayu and give it back to Haruto. Koyomi then witnesses the final battle between Haruto and Fueki as Wizard Infinity and White Wizard respectively. After Haruto is knocked down and Fueki is killed by Gremlin, the latter later attacks Koyomi and steals her Philosopher's Stone, leaving her to die in Haruto's arms, her body disappearing in gold sparkles. Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider Gaim & Wizard: The Fateful Sengoku Movie Battle[]
Created by the regret of Haruto being unable to move on from Koyomi's death, the Hope Wizard Ring resonated with his emotions and the "will of Koyomi". When the Ogre Phantom steals the Hope Wizard Ring and uses his abilities to materialize the Hope Wizard Ring, it resurrects Koyomi. However Koyomi is full of hate and animosity, asking Haruto if he's going to get her killed again. Confused and not knowing how she feels about everything, she is willing to accept her death when Haruto resolves to fight back. However, Haruto refuses to let go of her, hugging her and canceling his transformation. Haruto states that while he saved Koyomi on the day of the Sabbath, in actuality it was her who saved him, giving him hope and never letting him fall into despair. She then cancels her transformation, finally able to rest, and dissolves slowly in a light, giving Haruto the Hope Wizard Ring back as a result.
As Ogre was defeated in Haruto's Underworld, Haruto decides to give the Hope Wizard Ring to a Koyomi residing in his Underworld. [Kamen Rider Wizard: The Promised Place]
