Kimito Totani (戸谷 公人, Totani Kimito) is a Japanese actor who portrayed Daiki Kaito/Kamen Rider Diend in Kamen Rider Decade, with his most recent reprisal of the role in Kamen Rider Zi-O.

Biography[]

After high school, Totani won the semi-Grand Prix in an audition with Amuse and debuted at the agency as an actor in 2007.

Personal Life[]

Financial Dispute[]

In 2022, Decade co-star Masahiro Inoue publicly tweeted a screenshot of a text message exchange on LINE between him and Totani. The messages revealed that Inoue had lent money to Totani, but the latter had yet to return it due to lack of personal funds at the time. After Inoue said that the money was already overdue from when Totani promised to return it, Totani retorted that he would have already done so had he had the money. Inoue had considered legal action, but was informed by a lawyer that the amount of money Totani had borrowed was not enough for a lawsuit. After Inoue threatened to make their text messages public if Totani did not return the money, he did not receive another response from Totani for an entire month, resulting in the tweet. Several hours later, Totani publicly apologized and returned the money.[1]
