This article is about a character in Kamen Rider Revice. |
Kimiko Ushijima (牛島 公子, Ushijima Kimiko) was a high-ranking member of Weekend alongside her assigned "son" and "husband", Hikaru Ushijima and Tasuke Ushijima.
History[]
Background[]
Kimiko Ushijima is a member of Weekend tasked to monitor the Igarashi family under Masumi Karizaki's orders. Along with fellow members Tasuke and Hikaru Ushijima, they posed as a family and regulars of the Happy Spa.
The Deadmans Crisis[]
Kimiko and her family attended Daiji's appointment ceremony at Fenix with the Igarashis, where the event gets attacked by the Deadmans. While the Giff Junior started to attack people, the Ushijimas and Shozo Irabu hid behind to witness Ikki Igarashi's first transformation into a Kamen Rider.
When the Igarashis went on a family vacation to a ryoukan inn, the Ushijimas appeared to coincidentally be there as well. Offscreen, however, the family starts to eavesdrop on them and plants wired bugs in the Igarashis' rooms, creating a disturbing atmosphere showing signs that they were not just an ordinary family. When Sakura ran away from home, she was welcome into the Ushijima home, but she felt disturbed by the emptiness inside the residence.
Welcome to Weekend[]
One night, the Ushijimas invited Sakura to their home. Although she was suddenly attacked, Sakura ran into the basement and entered the Weekend base. Kimiko and her family introduced to her about their organization and their intent to fight against Fenix. In their capacity as members of Weekend, the Ushijimas anonymously sent the Libera Driver to Sakura, who used it to fight as Kamen Rider Jeanne.
The Ushijimas sought to recruit Sakura to Weekend in an upcoming battle against Fenix due to their possession over Giff's coffin. While Sakura herself was unsure to join Weekend, the corruption in Fenix grew apparent after Hiromi Kadota's disappearance and the revelation regarding Genta Igarashi's past. It would also be revealed that Hikaru and Tasuke aren't her real family and were just undercover. Due to the threat of Giff becoming rampant, Sakura would agree to join Weekend.
War on Fenix[]
In the days preceding Weekend's battle against Giff, Kimiko would sought to gather more members to their cause. Weekend was able to recruit the reformed Deadmans executives Hana Natsuki and Go Tamaki as their latest operatives. After Giff decimated the majority of Fenix's forces during Hideo Akaishi's staged conference, Weekend began to deploy above ground. Hikaru would also join the front lines as Kamen Rider Over Demons.
With Weekend battling the Giff Juniors and True Gifftarians, the organization made themselves public after hacking the broadcast feed. The sought to counter Fenix's attempts to surrender to Giff and encourage humanity to fight in the ongoing battle. During the demon invasion, Kimiko would also partake in the battle to clear the civillians to safety and guiding them to Weekend's safe bunker.
Death[]
While trying to battle an oncoming horde of Giff Juniors and Hell Gifftarians, Kimiko was brutally injured by one of the Hell Gifftarians. Despite Hikaru arriving to help as Over Demons, there were too many demons for Weekend to continue fighting. Tasuke made the decision to simply abandon her and priortize saving Hikaru, much to the latter's dismay. Despite not being his real parent, Hikaru still loved Kimiko like she was his real parent. Although Tasuke put of a cold front, he too was also battered by Kimiko's death.
