This article is about a crossover character who appeared in an anniversary movie in the Kamen Rider Series. |
Kikaider 01 (キカイダー01, Kikaidā Zero Wan) is a hero from one of Shotaro Ishinomori's other works. Kikaider 01 has a cameo in OOO, Den-O, All Riders: Let's Go Kamen Riders where he teams up with Kikaider, Inazuman and Zubat to destroy General Shadow as he attempted to escape from the riders.
Profile[]
Kikaider 01 is a solar energy powered android built by Professor Komoyoji, serving as a prototype and older brother of Jiro/Kikaider. Named "Ichiro" in human form, he was awakened from his deep slumber when an evil organization known as the "Hakaider Squad" arose from DARK's remains.
Unlike his younger brother, Ichiro possesses a complete "Conscience Circuit", protecting him from any temptations of evil. However, this also prevents Ichiro from making his own decisions as an individual, essentially incapable of ignoring his programming. Furthermore, his need for solar energy makes Ichiro susceptible in darkness, weakening him greatly without sunlight.
During Ichiro's battle with the Hakaider Squad, another evil organization known as "Shadow" would appear, with Ichiro forced to fight both factions.
Personality[]
Created with a complete Conscience Circuit, Ichiro is an idealistic hero; being brave, compassionate and wise in nature. Programmed to protect the innocent, Ichiro will never back down from a fight to protect humanity, seeing it as his mission to stop any threats from wreaking havoc.
Notably though, Ichiro has a rather black and white view of the world, to the point of being unable to harm malicious humans. Furthermore, his programming makes Ichiro vulnerable towards women and children, a fact his foes have noted on several occasions.
In stark contrast to Jiro/Kikaider, Ichiro rarely shows any sign of emotional distress, not troubled by personal situations in general. From this, he lacks the same inner strength as his younger brother, being unable to mature as an individual.
Arsenal[]
In quick succession, all four heroes used their finisher attacks on General Shadow. Kikaider 01 was the second to go, using his "01 Driver" attack.
Behind the scenes[]

Origin[]
Kikaider 01 originated in Kikaider 01 (キカイダー01, Kikaidā Zero Wan) (Pronounced as Kikaider Zero One), a tokusatsu superhero TV series, and a sequel series to Android Kikaider.
