Kensei Mikami (水上剣星, Mikami Kensei) is a Japanese actor who portrayed Gentoku Himuro/Night Rogue/Kamen Rider Rogue in Kamen Rider Build.
Biography[]
Mikami began his acting career in 2009, appearing in his debut role in the drama series Tokyo Dogs. After that, he began appearing in several other dramas in eight consecutive seasons. He made his film debut in 2010, appearing in Beck.
In 2017, he joined the cast of Kamen Rider Build.
After Build, Mikami joined the cast of Shinya no Damekoi Zukan, alongside Drive-star Fumika Baba and Kiva-star Yuuki Ogoe. In 2022, Mikami played a Yazuka henchmen in the HBO-Max series Tokyo Vice, alongside Ayumi Tanida, who portrays his character's boss Tozawa.
Personal Life[]
- Mikami has been married to actress Maho Nonami since 2012. They have two daughters together.
- Mikami's hobbies include composing music and skateboarding. He is also fluent in English, having lived in New York from the ages of 18 to 23 & he could be seen speaking it in Build NEW WORLD: Kamen Rider Grease.
