Kazuyoshi Nemoto (根本 和良, Nemoto Kazuyoshi) is an employee of convenience store and a Gate who was targeted by the Phantom Raum.
History[]
Nemoto named a cucumber-loving myna bird that had found its way into his house "Q-ta" and started keeping it as a pet, putting him in a cage when he went for walks. However, Q-ta's true identity is a Phantom called "Raum" that has the ability to transform into a myna bird. His goal was to make Kazuyoshi Nemoto suspect him by causing an arson incident during a walk, and to drive the timid man into despair.
As a result, Nemoto was pursued by the Toriizaka Police Station as a suspect in the arson incident, but with the help of Rinko Daimon and Shunpei Nara, he succeeded in clearing his name. The situation seemed resolved with the defeat of Raum, but Nemoto was so shocked that he nearly despaired when he found out the true identity of his beloved Q-ta.
