Kazuya Tanabe (田邊 和也, Tanabe Kazuya) is a Japanese actor who portrayed Kota Fukuda in Kamen Rider Amazons and Yujiro Wakabayashi in Kamen Rider Revice.
Biography[]
Tanabe as a child was always interested in movies and strove to become an actor. When he was 21, Tanabe traveled to Korea and starred in "Beastie Boys". He then traveled to Vancouver, Canada and focused his career on short films. At 25, he returned to Japan to learn method acting, later starring in the drama Inochi arugagiri tatakae, soshite ikinukunda. Slowly, his career began to grow as he began starring in Japanese movies such as Library Wars: The Last Mission. He made his Hollywood debut in Jared Leto's The Outsider.
In 2019, Tanabe had a guest role in the fifth episode of the second season of the AMC series The Terror. In 2021, Tanabe starred as Shinzo in the Netflix film Kate. In 2022, Tanabe starred as Yabuki in the HBO Max series Tokyo Vice.
