Kazunori Nagayama (永山 一徳, Nagayama Kazunori) was one of the many Riders sent by Chirami to stop Kamen Rider Buffa. He transformed into Kamen Rider Groovy (仮面ライダーグルービー, Kamen Raidā Gurūbī) as part of his participation in the Desire Grand Prix.
History[]
Kazunori Nagayama was one of the players recruited by Chirami to overthrow against Michinaga Azuma, who had assumed the position of Jyamashin. Nagayama was given the Groovy Core ID and Ninja Raise Buckle to become Kamen Rider Groovy. However, he was no match for the powered-up Buffa Fever Zombie Form. In the end, Groovy's ID Core was crushed, resulting in Nagayama's elimination from the fight.

Entry Form (エントリーフォーム, Entorī Fōmu), also known as Entry Raise Form (エントリーレイズフォーム, Entorī Reizu Fōmu), is Groovy's base suit, accessed through the sole usage of the Groovy Core ID.
Entry Form consists of the following parts:
- Groovy Head (グルービーヘッド, Gurūbī Heddo): The head.
- Groovy Crest Gear (グルービークレストギア, Gurūbī Kuresuto Gia): Groovy's head-mounted device. It expands the player's head functions and protects the head with lightweight yet extremely strong composite armor. With a shape that symbolizes the Rider's crest on the ID Core, it also functions as a visual aid to increase Groovy's visibility.
- Groovy Ear (グルービーイヤー, Gurūbī Iyā): Groovy's ears.
- Groovy Eye (グルービーアイ, Gurūbī Ai): Groovy's compound eyes. The visual information obtained here is transmitted via an internal display, protecting the player's eyes from intense light such as explosions that suddenly occur during a game. In addition, their high night vision capability enables targets hidden in the dark to be uncovered.
- Audit Signal (オーディットシグナル, Ōditto Shigunaru): Groovy's inspection device. By constantly monitoring the Kamen Rider's condition, it diagnoses the continuity of transformation based on operating efficiency, damage, etc., and cancels the transformation if necessary.
- Blank Crusher (ブランククラッシャー, Buranku Kurasshā): Groovy's mouth section. The voice chat function enables clear conversations even with loud noise, allowing communication between Kamen Riders during cooperative play, etc.
- Desire Basic (デザイアベーシック, Dezaia Bēshikku): The suit-type gaming device. Using energy supplied from the Desire Driver, it raises the output of the player's physical abilities.
- Progressive Arm (プログレッシブアーム, Puroguresshibu Āmu): Entry Form's arms. They produce enough power to defeat the Jyamato by increasing the player's arm strength. Furthermore, various functions can be added by attaching expansion equipment.
- Entry Glove (エントリーグローブ, Entorī Gurōbu): Entry Form's gloves. They can be configured for high sensitivity to perform more delicate work than can be done with bare hands. They can also be customized with the features of various Raise Buckles.
- Progressive Leg (プログレッシブレッグ, Puroguresshibu Reggu): Entry Form's legs. They increase the player's leg strength to raise the game's survival rate. Furthermore, various functions can be added by attaching expansion equipment.
- Entry Boots (エントリーブーツ, Entorī Būtsu): Entry Form's boots. They boast excellent jumping power and running performance on the game field. They can also be customized with the features of various Raise Buckles.

Ninja Form (ニンジャフォーム, Ninja Fōmu) is Groovy's form accessed by using the Ninja Buckle on the right-hand slot of the Desire Driver.
Ninja Form adds on the following parts:
- Ninja Groovy Head (ニンジャグルービーヘッド, Ninja Gurūbī Heddo): The head. Each function is expanded by the Ninja Buckle.
- Magenta Groovy Eye (マゼンタグルービーアイ, Mazenta Gurūbī Ai): The compound eyes. It is possible to obtain the necessary information for ninjutsu from visual information, such as by tracing the shape and texture of the target.
- Ninja Crusher (ニンジャクラッシャー, Ninja Kurasshā): The mouth section. The voice chat function enables clear conversations even with loud noise, allowing communication between Kamen Riders during cooperative play, etc.
- Ninja Head Guard (ニンジャヘッドガード, Ninja Heddo Gādo): The enhanced equipment. The entire head is granted expanded functionality by the Ninja Buckle, making him a professional in ninjutsu.
- Ninjutsu Chester (ニンジュツチェスター, Ninjutsu Chesutā): The chest expansion equipment. By converting the special energy supplied by the Desire Driver into various materials, ninjutsu such as replication and transformation techniques are activated.
- Ninja Armor S (ニンジャアーマーS, Ninja Āmā Esu): The shoulder expansion equipment. Small and lightweight armor that does not hinder combat speed enables blending into the surrounding scenery by activating ninjutsu.
- Shuriken Arm (シュリケンアーム, Shuriken Āmu): The arm expansion equipment. It gives excellent agility and quietness. In addition, by skillfully manipulating the Ninja Dueler, it releases shapeshifting attacks that combine ninjutsu and slashing.

Kazunori Nagayama is portrayed by Eitoku (永徳, Eitoku), who is more well known for being the primary suit-actor for Kamen Rider Tycoon and the secondary Heisei Riders from Diend to Cross-Z (excluding Beast, Mach, Specter, and Brave). As Kamen Rider Groovy, his suit actor is Takuma Komori (小森 拓真, Komori Takuma).[1]

- His name Kazunori Nagayama (永山 一徳, Nagayama Kazunori) comes from Eitoku (永徳, Eitoku).
- Groovy (グルービー, gurūbī) is an anagram of beagle (ビーグル, bīguru) with another prolonged sound mark added.
