- "If Joker remains... the world will be destroyed... You are a fool."

Kanai (金居, Kanai) is the human form of the Giraffa Undead (ギラフアンデッド, Girafa Andeddo), the Category King of Diamonds Undead and the last of the Royal Club to appear in the series.
Overview[]
Kamen Rider Blade[]
Posing as a human with eye glasses, he is the first Undead to learn the truth about the fake Undead battle and the last Royal Club Undead to be sealed, which his first scene has him explaining to Hikaru about while knocking Kenzaki out of transformation.[A Desire to Get Stronger]
Kanai eventually encounters Hajime, asking him to join him. Hajime refused and decided to fight him as Wild Chalice, causing Kanai to retaliate in response. Deeming their battle as meaningless, Kanai ultimately blasts Hajime with an attack and retreats. [Leangle Revived]
After his few observations of watching the Riders struggle with the Titan Undead and learning of Tennoji's goals, as Mutsuki was cycling with Nozomi right by his side, Kanai appeared before him, causing the Rider to go after and communicate with him. Mutsuki asked him if he was willing to coexist with humans, only for Kanai to respond how impossible that was. Then Kerberos appeared before them, with Mutsuki protecting Kanai. As Mutsuki fought the Undead, Kanai retreated to observe them. Later, he went to Tennoji and demanded the Kerberos card from him. Tennoji then transformed into Kerberos II, then claiming to Kanai that he became an Undead. Upon being defeated, Kanai fell down injured towards Tachibana and Mutsuki. When Kerberos II overpowered the two, Tachibana and Mutsuki retreated while taking Kanai with them. At Kotaro's house, Kanai discussed the whole situation with the others and how they'd plan on dealing with it. During the climax battle, Kanai saved Mutsuki as repayment for saving him earlier, motivating him to fight for their realization of peace. After Tennoji is defeated and demanded where he was, Kanai appeared before him. In his last rant for his desires, Tennoji shook him and demanded the Riders to seal him. In response, Kanai told him that he was the one getting "sealed", transformed into his Undead form, and slit Tennoji's forehead to his death, then claiming to Hajime that he was gonna be the victor. When Mutsuki questioned him in what he said to him was a lie, Kanai claimed that he was truthful, but with his version of peace being without people, right before injuring Mutsuki and taking his leave with the Kerberos card. [Foe or Friend?][Fourcards][The New Card][The Ruler's Seal]
As Hajime was walking back home with Amane, Kanai was then shown to be at the area drinking coffee. At Hajime's room, Kanai blackmailed Hajime with the event of their fight tied to the death of Amane's father to finish the fight. At a forest, the two continued their duel, but with the Kerberos card, Kanai defeats Hajime and knocks him out of transformation. Narrowly arriving in time, Kazuma and Kotaro buy enough time for Hajime to escape from Kanai, much to the latter's annoyance.
Later during his search for Hajime, Kanai was approached by Sakuya, the latter proclaiming that he will not allow Kanai to seal away the Joker Undead. Transforming into Kamen Rider Garren, Sakuya fought with Kanai, seemingly unable to penetrate Kanai's defenses. Greatly damaging Sakuya and breaking off a portion of his mask, Kanai then attempted to steal away his Rouse cards, only to be surprised when Sakuya grabbed his arm. Unable to activate his barrier from such a short distance, Kanai was shot several times by Sakuya's Garren Rouser, greatly damaging him. During the process, Kanai repeatedly attacked Sakuya with his swords, attempting to stop him from winning the fight. Proving unsuccessful, Kanai's buckle had opened, granting Sakuya the opportunity to seal him away. Swatting away Sakuya's blank card into the ocean, Kanai reminded him of what the world would face if the Joker won the Battle Fight, only for Sakuya to rebuff him entirely. In his final moments, Kanai referred to Sakuya as a fool, before Sakuya grabbed him and plunged themselves off the cliff they battled on. Apparently landing into Sakuya's dropped card, Kanai was sealed away.[Garren Eliminated]
Kamen Rider Decade: All Riders vs. Dai-Shocker[]
However, he is revived in All Riders vs Dai-Shocker. He is first seen with all the monsters appearing in front of Tsukasa, Daiki Kaito, and Natsumi Hikari. He attacks Daiki, and is kicked back by Tsukasa. He is later seen fighting Tsukasa again, but is slashed back hard with Bat Fangire.
