"Neither good nor evil will defeat you. It's by us, who reach the third singularity... Kamen Rider Zero-Three! (お前を倒すのは善でも悪でもない。第三のシンギュラリティへと到達する我… 仮面ライダーゼロスリー!, Omae o taosu no wa zen demo waru demonai. Dai san no Shingyurariti e to tōtatsu suru wareware… Kamen Raidā Zerosurī!)"
―Kamen Rider Zero-Three to Zein before defeating it[src]

Kamen Rider Zero-Three (仮面ライダーゼロスリー, Kamen Raidā Zerosurī) is a Kamen Rider exclusive to Kamen Rider Outsiders. It is the fusion of the satellites There and Ark as Kamen Riders Zero-Two and Ark-Zero.

Components[]

History[]

Zero-Three was created as the united fusion between two satellites that had been at war since the beginning of the Humagear era. Coming to a common truce to eliminate a greater threat that was Zein, the two merged together to create a singularity that surpasses even both of them.

Coming to the battlefield, Zero-Three heard Tsumuri express her sadness that Kuroto Dan was unable to have his wish granted despite the current world that Ace Ukiyo so valiantly fought for. As such, Zero-Three mimicked Tsumuri's creation abilities and remade Kuroto Dan into a human.

Later it fought against Zein on equal footing and defeated it, but Zein alongside its host Yuto Sakurai escaped with the help of the recently arrived Kamen Rider Evol-X.

They were then confused by the sudden appearance of Evol-X, as he was not in their database. Although they knew the opponent was a lifeform from the universe, Zero-Three prioritized on fighting against Zein, as There predicted that Misora Isurugi would start a live stream to dissuade people from playing Kamen Rider Chronicle.

After finding Yuto on a rooftop, Zero-Three asked him why he would continue to punish humanity even when Kamen Rider Chronicle ended. Yuto transformed into Zein and continued to fight Zero-Three, but was still defeated by Zero-Three with their finisher. Zero-Three predicted Yuto's future and found that it was Zein who caused the destruction of mankind, and decided to eliminate Zein's power. Yuto, who also discovered this fact, deliberately let Zero-Three defeat him and successfully free himself from Zein's control.

However, the clone of Evolto posing as Joseph Rando came to the rooftop, transformed into Evol-X, and snatched the Dimension Zein Card from Yuto. Zero-Three realizes that the opponent was not Joseph himself, but was then interrupted by the sudden appearance of Ecole, who transformed into the second Kamen Rider Zein and used the card. When they tried to stop him, Evol-X fought Zero-Three, until he and Zein escaped through a wormhole portal.

Powers and Abilities[]

  • There and Ark Satellite Connection: Being both satellites itself, with the Zero-Three Driver equipped, it grants Zero-Three a variety of abilities:
    • Enhanced Thought Processes: Being the combination of two A.I. supercomputers itself, it can exponentially accelerate its thought processes and quickly generate a counter against any type of fighting style. This proved useful in countering Zein's usage of Clock Up, though it was still unable to counter Hyper Clock Up. It could also predict future events, such as Misora Isurugi's internet live stream and Yuto Sakurai's actual history.
  • God of Genesis Mimicry: After copying the basis of Goddess of Genesis data from Tsumuri’s tears, Zero-Three could perform the Life Creation ability as shown when it reincarnated Kuroto Dan as a Human through the activation of Life On Big Bang.

Zero-Three's primary form is accessed by using the Zero-Three Progrisekey in the Zero-Three Driver.

As the successor to Kamen Rider Zero-Two and a fusion of the latter and Kamen Rider Ark-Zero, it possesses multiple new abilities that neither rider possessed themselves alone. Zero-Three possesses immense predictive capabilities, surpassing Zero-Two's predictive capabilities which already surpassed Ark-Zero originally.

By pressing the Zero-Three Progrisekey into the Zero-Three Driver, Zero-Three can summon and use the following weapons:

Furthermore, Zero-Three has the ability to learn the abilities of others and use them. Zero-Three first utilized this ability through the usage of Tsumuri's tears, learning the Goddess of Genesis's reality warping abilities to grant Kuroto Dan's wish, while also reincarnating the latter through the Life On Big Bang (ライフオンビッグバング, Raifu On Biggu Bangu). Additionally, Zero-Three is able to use the Cluster Cells of Kamen Rider Zero-One MetalCluster Hopper to defend and attack.

Zero-Three consists of the following parts:

This form has the following finishers:

  • Zero-Three Driver
    • Zero-Three Big Bang (ゼロスリービッグバング, Zerosurī Biggu Bangu): Zero-Three presses the Progrisekey into their driver twice before striking a pose befoe jumping into the air, with an energy construct of a robotic grasshopper extending from his foot, performing a flying side-kick at their opponent, that leaves behind a trail of yellow and red energy. After clashing against their opponent, they launch themselves backwards off of them and fly back down with another flying side-kick, surrounded with the data of There and Ark, covered in green energy that creates a yellow energy emblem of circuitry and piercing through the target.
  • Thousand Jacker
    • Jacking Break (ジャッキングブレイク, Jakkingu Bureiku): has two variations:
      • Used against Kamen Rider Zein, Zero-Three pulls the Jack Ring while putting the Jack Suction of the Thousand Jacker on the Zein Driver's Ride Ex Machina, absorbing its data and causing the Thousand Jacker to be filled with red energy that turns to purple. They then release a close-ranged red energy slash towards Zein.
      • Zero-Three first pulls the Jack Ring before pulling the trigger, entering a stance as the Thousand Jacker's Jack Edge becomes surrounded with the data of There and Ark. Zero-Three then swings the blade, releasing a massive energy slash containing the two satellites' data at their opponent.
  • A.I.M.S. Shotriser
    • Rampage All Blast (ランペイジオールブラスト, Ranpeiji Ōru Burasuto): The emblems of all 10 of RampageVulcan's component Progrisekeys line up in front of Shotriser while Zero-Three charges it with green and yellow energy energy and an energy Ability Wing on their back digs into the ground, bracing them. Zero-Three then fires a bullet surrounded by spiraling multicolored energy that penetrates through its target, creating swirling rainbow energy upon impact.

Behind the Scenes[]

Portrayal[]

Kamen Rider Zero-Three is dual-voiced by Noa Tsurushima (鶴嶋 乃愛, Tsurushima Noa) and Show Hayami (速水 奨, Hayami Shō), both whom portrayed Is/As and voiced the Ark respectively from Kamen Rider Zero-One.

Notes[]

  • Kamen Rider Zero-Three is a homage to Kamen Rider V3, due to their similar naming, Zero-Three's silver forearms, chestpiece, and mouth piece corresponding to V3's own. Furthermore, the Unit attached to the Driver resembles the Double Typhoon, and their static image shows them performing V3's own pose.
    • Furthermore, Zero-Three's Rider Kick, the Zero-Three Big Bang, is performed in the same manner as the V3 Hanten Kick.
  • Zero-Three recycles Kamen Rider Eden's and Kamen Rider Lucifer's chestpiece and back armor, and adds another row of plates close to the neck that resemble the numbers 03. The shoulders, forearms, and thighs are repainted from Kamen Rider Eden. Additionally, a new helmet is made from using a mold of Kamen Rider Zero-Two's head with some new details added in.
  • In the official website for Kamen Rider Outsiders, the place holder image of Kamen Rider Zero-Three was entitled "ep05-arkthree.png".[1]
  • The final line of Kamen Rider Zero-Three's jingle references Is, There, and Ark, and together forms the phrase "Kamen Rider Zero-Three is There (and) Ark", referring to who the uses of the form is.
