Rising Hopper (ライジングホッパー, Raijingu Hoppā) is Zero-One's grasshopper-based primary form accessed by using the Rising Hopper Progrisekey in the Hiden Zero-One Driver.

While it serves at Zero-One's balanced default form, Rising Hopper excels at jump height and kicking power, outclassing all of his other main forms as well as other Riders in these areas due to using grasshopper data.

Being one of Zero-One's most balanced forms, Flaming Tiger grants Zero-One an increase in punching power, jumping height, and running speed compared to Biting Shark and Flying Falcon but is still outclassed by Rising Hopper's kicking power and jumping height.

Flaming Tiger adds the following parts:

Shining Hopper (シャイニングホッパー, Shainingu Hoppā) is Zero-One's upgraded form, accessed by using the Shining Hopper Progrisekey in the Hiden Zero-One Driver.

Compared to Rising Hopper, Shining Hopper offers a moderate boost to Zero-One's punching power, kicking power, and jump height while more than doubling his maximum running speed. This form's main ability is to simulate a variety of combat patterns and choose the most advantageous one at the last second, in practice allowing him to dodge the enemy's attacks and counterattack from unexpected angles. Shining Assault Hopper (シャイニングアサルトホッパー, Shainingu Asaruto Hoppā) is Zero-One's second upgraded form. This form combines the power of Kamen Riders Zero-One Shining Hopper and Vulcan Assault Wolf, accessed by using the Shining Assault Hopper Progrisekey in the Hiden Zero-One Driver.

MetalCluster Hopper (メタルクラスタホッパー, Metaru Kurasuta Hoppā) is Zero-One's super form, accessed by using the MetalCluster Hopper Progrisekey in the Hiden Zero-One Driver.

While the form is aesthetically identical to Rising Hopper, its stats are increased by a huge amount, surpassing Horobi Ark-Scorpion by a small margin but still weaker than Zero-Two. However, Zero-One retains Zero-Two's speed, allowing him to effectively outmaneuver the enemy and dodge their attacks.

Realizing Hopper consists of the following parts:

All of this form's stats slightly exceed those of Realizing Hopper, but it is still outclassed by Zero-Two. However, it makes up for this deficit with several abilities. In this form, Zero-One possesses some of Kamen Rider Eden's ability to regenerate, enabling him to heal injuries such as broken bones. However, because Aruto's body is not made of nanomachines like Eden's, this process is excruciatingly painful. In addition, Zero-One's body accumulates energy over the course of a battle until he ultimately releases it all at once in the form of a large explosion. Because this attack damages all of Eden's body simultaneously, it is one of the few things that is able to nullify his ability to regenerate and defeat him, forcing him out of transformation.

Kamen Rider Zero-Two is the culmination of Aruto’s dream of uniting both human and artificial intelligence into one, and has the potential to exceed Kamen Rider Ark Zero’s predictive capabilities. While Zero-Two was conceptualized as a new Kamen Rider of Aruto's own creation, it is also considered to be the final upgrade to the Zero-One system.

Zero-Two's stats surpass Ark-Zero in all areas by a large degree. Zero-One Ridewatch (ゼロワンライドウォッチ, Zerowan Raidowotchi): Based on Kamen Rider Zero-One Rising Hopper, this Ridewatch would provide access to the Zero-OneArmor. It is labeled by Ziku-Driver as Rider and is dated 2019. Unlike most Ridewatches, this Ridewatch causes the Ziku-Driver to display glitched numbers.

This Ridewatch appears on the closing screen of the final episode of Kamen Rider Zi-O.[2019: Apocalypse]

Another Zero-One Watch (アナザーゼロワンウォッチ, Anazā Zerowan Wotchi): A twisted version of the Zero-One Ridewatch used to transform into Another Zero-One.

The book's name is shortened to "Zero-One" in the Swordriver's announcements and to "Jinko chino" in the Bladriver announcements.

Hiden no Hiden Monogatari Wonder Ride Book (飛電の秘伝物語ワンダーライドブック, Hiden no Hiden Monagatari Wandā Raido Bukku, lit. Hidden Stories of Hiden Wonder Ride Book) is a Wonder Ride Book based on Kamen Rider Zero-One and Hiden Intelligence. The book's name is shortened to "Hiden" in the Swordriver's finisher announcements. The Book's name is a pun on Hiden Intelligence (飛電) and the Japanese word for "hidden" (秘伝), akin to Aruto Hiden's jokes.

Neo Batta Vistamp (ネオバッタバイスタンプ, Neo Batta Baisutanpu, lit. "Neo Grasshopper Vistamp"): Allows Revi and Vice to access their Neo Batta Genome. This Vistamp was created by George Karizaki in 2071 and given to Vice, who had traveled from the present. It was presumably erased along with the future it came from after the defeat of Diablo. George would later create the Neo Batta Vistamp in 2022, much earlier than his original future self. It contains the genetic information of a grasshopper and is based on Kamen Rider Zero-One.

Etymology

With "zero" in Japanese and "one" in Japanized-English, Zero-One can be read as Rei Wan (零 ワン) in Japanese, referencing the fact that he is the first Kamen Rider of the Reiwa era.

  • Being the first Kamen Rider of the Reiwa period, Zero-One's name and motif are in homage to Kamen Rider 1.
  • Kamen Rider Zero-One's official color scheme is fluorescent yellow.[29][30] While previous grasshopper-themed Showa Riders typically used green, fluorescent yellow was chosen to align with the "eccentric visuals" of Heisei Rider designs.[31][32] Additionally, due to the challenges of reproducing fluorescent colors in print media, some promotional materials depict Zero-One Rising Hopper in a standard yellow hue.[33]

  • Kamen Rider Zero-Two is a homage to Kamen Rider 2, due to their similar naming, Zero-Two's red forearms corresponding to Kamen Rider 2's gloves, and Zero-Two being shown in a pose similar to 2's signature transformation pose in promotional material. Moreover, whenever Zero-Two uses its finisher, he gains an energy muffler similar to Ichi-Gata's in homage to 2's trademark scarf.
  • Kamen Rider Zero-Three is a homage to Kamen Rider V3, due to their similar naming and red-green color scheme. Zero-Three's chest has a red center line with silver borders, much like V3.[34]
  • Zero-One is the only rider to have his armor disfigured instead of being replaced while accessing a new base form.
  • Zero-One Breaking Mammoth is the first Mecha form in the Reiwa Era and the tallest Mecha form of the Kamen Rider franchise, rivaling Gaim Suika Arms and Ex-Aid Maximum Gamer.
  • Kamen Rider Zero-One Rising Hopper's color scheme is similar to Phymateus leprosus, also known as the milkweed grasshopper, which can be found in South Africa.

  • Zero-One's boot soles have a pattern that, upon closer examination, resembles an overhead view of a grasshopper.
  • In Televi-kun magazines, Zero-Two is seen performing Kamen Rider 2's transformation pose though mirrored.
  • Kamen Rider Zero-Two marks the first time a Final Form debuted in the 40s episode range without prior appearances of any kind.
    • Although Kamen Rider Kuuga Ultimate Form debuted in episode 48, the form had been teased through Yusuke's visions in episodes 35 & 47.
    • In the previous season, Kamen Rider GrandZi-O had a brief cameo at the beginning of the episode 39, before its full transformation in 40.
  • Hellrising Hopper is a recolored Shining Assault Hopper with a modified chest-plate and more pronounced trapezoidal armor, fitting as both forms rely on elements that cause the armor to physically emerge from within the under-suit.
  • Kamen Rider ZeroZero-One's suit reuses the chest armor of Horobi/Jin, the undersuit, leg armor and abdominal armor of Night Rogue, the shoulders and the armor on the arms from the Nebula Hell Bro's. The only elements original to the suit are the helmet and Restrain Cables added to the thighs.
