Kamen Rider Zangetsu: -Gaim Gaiden- (舞台 仮面ライダー斬月 -鎧武外伝-, Butai Kamen Raidā Zangetsu Gaimu Gaiden) is a Japanese stage production that serves as the third installment of the Kamen Rider Gaim Gaiden series set within the continuity of Kamen Rider Gaim. In the play, Takatora Kureshima investigates the cause of an underground republic brimming with young men who are forced to constantly kill each other.
The stageshow received a novelization titled Kamen Rider Gaim Gaiden: ~Kamen Rider Zangetsu~.
Synopsis
Takatora Kureshima/Kamen Rider Zangetsu visits a former Yggdrasill Corporation experimental project site located in the poverty and conflict stricken Torkia Republic. He revisits the site for the first time in 8 years due to an incident that occurred in said site. He was attacked by surprise and falls into a giant hole, which he discovers an underground city.
This underground city is the most dangerous place in the republic, in which many young men are killed defending themselves while trying to survive. These men use Lock Seeds and Drivers to transform into Armored Riders. Because of his fall, Takatora loses his memory. He's helped by the leader of the Orange Ride, one of the teams in this underground city. He suddenly sees another Rider and shocked by his amazing power, he realized that this Rider is Zangetsu.
Those around Takatora try to help him regain his memory. Unbeknownst to them, there are cameras hidden all around the underground city. The ones behind the cameras is responsible for the conflicts in the city. One man in particular is seeking revenge on Takatora for a specific reason...[1]

Continuity and Placement
- Takes place some time after the events of the TV series, as several events from the TV series are referenced, with Kouta Kazuraba possessing Aym using his Man of the Beginning powers at some point. The stageshow contains flashbacks to events that occur eight years before. It takes place before Gaim Gaiden: Kamen Rider Gridon VS Kamen Rider Bravo, where Takatora possesses the Kachidoki Lockseed he acquires here.
