This article is about a rider form used by several identities in the Kamen Rider Series.

Kamen Rider X (仮面ライダーX（エックス）, Kamen Raidā Ekkusu, Masked Rider X) or X-Rider (Xライダー, Ekkusu Raidā), a cyborg known as a Kaizorg (カイゾーグ, Kaizōgu), may refer to any of the following characters:

For the first 27 episodes (and later in Kamen Rider Taisen), Keisuke's used the phrase "Set Up" (セタップ, Setappu) and jumps into the air with his bodysuit manifesting as he removes the "Redizer" & "Perfecter" from the sides of his belt to form his helmet and then snap up the faceplate to complete the transformation. From 28 onward, Keisuke uses the phrase "Dai Henshin!" (大変身！, Dai Henshin) to transform while making a "X" sign with his arms after V3 gives him Mercury Circuit (マーキュリー回路), which greatly powered up X. As Kamen Rider X, his power apparently comes from solar and wind energy.

As a Kaizorg, Keisuke is a master of undersea combat. His exoskeleton is made of a special super alloy called Special Structure that allows him to survive and move freely in the heavy pressure of ten thousand meters below sea level along with an artificial lung to breathe underwater. Later on in the series Keisuke gets an upgrade which boosted his power three times fold meaning he can at least survive and move freely in thirty thousand meters below sea level.

The Anatomy of Kaizorg[]

The five bodies are supported by Artificial bones (人工骨, Jinkō hone) made of a special resin that is stronger than metal[note 1], Strengthening muscles (強化筋肉, Kyōka kin'niku) soaked in strengthening liquid, and Accel joints (アクセル関節, Akuseru kansetsu) that produce strength and speed.[1]

  • X Mask (Xマスク, X Masuku): A modified form of Red Eyezer used during "Set Up". The silver parts of the mask and suit are made of High Silicon (ハイシリコン, Hai Shirikon), a device that absorb solar energy. In addition, there is a Microcomputer (マイクロコンピューター, Maikurokonpyūtā) inside, which is directly connected to the brain, which speeds up thinking and enables quick actions.
  • Antennae (触角, Shokkaku) or Black antennae (黒い触角, Kuroi shokkaku): A composite sensor that doubles as a high-performance antenna capable of telepathic communication with any location on Earth. By detecting magnetism, it not only perceives direction, air and water flow, but also serves as a radar to locate enemies.
  • Red V (レッドV, Reddo V): A luminous organ that emits light of all wavelengths to enable night vision and clairvoyance. In addition to flickering when danger approaches and sending signals to the brain, it also detects approaching enemies by interlocking with its antennae and emits ultraviolet rays to locate its location.
  • D Eye (Dアイ, D Ai): It has a wide field of view and a compound eye structure that can focus on multiple targets at the same time. Video analysis is also possible because it is directly connected to the video decomposition recording device in the back.
  • Artificial hearing (人工聴覚, Jinkō chōkaku): Receives all sound waves from ultra-low to ultra-high. In addition, it receives the sound waves detected by the Red Echo, analyses the stereoscopic image with a computer, and then transmits it to the D Eye.
  • Super Nose (スーパーノーズ, Sūpā Nōzu): A black part under the D Eye. Occasionally analyses the components in the air and discovers poisonous gases and smoke.
  • Oxygen inlet (酸素吸入口, Sanso kyūnyū-guchi): A dark green part of the mouth. Oxygen concentrators make it possible to take in oxygen from seawater even in the sea.
  • Perfector (パーフェクター, Pāfekutā): An item used during "Set Up". In addition to protecting the face and acting as a communication microphone, it has a built-in Energy Cross Device (エネルギークロス装置, Enerugī Kurosu Sōchi) that fuses the solar energy collected by X Mask with the wind energy taken in by Ridol.
  • Filter (フィルター, Firutā): A device behind Perfector that extracts oxygen from water during underwater activities. It also has an air purification function.
  • X Muffler (Xマフラ, X Mafura): It functions as a ground that releases excess energy accumulated in the body.
  • Guard Lung (ガードラング, Gādo Langu): A red bulletproof protector made of a special super alloy High Steel (ハイスチール製, Hai Suchīru-sei). In addition to being strong enough to withstand zero-distance full-auto shooting of assault rifles, it also has a depth adjustment function when diving deep underwater.
  • Red Echo (レッドエコー, Reddo Ekō): A sonar detector built into the Guard Lung. In conjunction with artificial hearing, it is possible to analyze the internal structure of the target at a short distance.
  • Artificial heart (人工心臓, Jinkō shinzō): A heart that pumps blood and nutrients into a Kaizorg's body.
  • Oxygen Supply Device (酸素供給装置, Sanso Kyōkyū Sōchi): A small oxygen tank-like cylinders inside X's chest. Due to his enhanced lungs that supply the necessary oxygen to his living body, X can operate without limit even in the deep sea.
  • Metabolizer (メタボライザー, Metaboraizā): A metabolic regulator. Reduce fatigue. A device that regulates the functions of various parts of the body based on data obtained from various sensors.
  • Mercury Circuit (マーキュリー回路, Mākyurī Kairo): A special circuit embedded in the chest by Shiro Kazami. In addition to producing Mercury Power (マーキュリーパワー, Mākyurī Pawā), all physical abilities such as jumping power and endurance have improved.
  • Plasma Energy Generator (プラズマエネルギー発生装置, Purazuma Enerugī Hassei Sōchi): Converts the solar energy and wind energy fused in Perfector into plasma energy and sends it out throughout the body.
  • Red-trap (レッドトラップ, Reddotorappu): A red line. It has a function as a water flow sensor equivalent to the lateral line of fish.
  • Black gloves (黒い手袋, Kuroi tebukuro): A gloves. It is a perfect insulator and can hold high-voltage wires.
  • Power Grip (パワー・グリップ, Pawā Gurippu): A high-speed vibration device is built into the fingertips, and it is possible to crush walls and bedrock.
  • Ridol (ライドル, Raidoru): The central part of the belt that captures wind energy. By operating each switch on the grip part, it changes to four forms of weapons.
  • Attachment Magnet (吸着マグネット, Kyūchaku Magunetto): A horseshoe-shaped magnets stored on both sides of the belt. X can walk on a vertical wall by wearing it on the soles of his feet.
  • Guard Ring (ガードリング, Gādo Ringu): A ring-shaped High Steel exoskeleton that covers the entire body. It can withstand water pressure at a depth of 10,000 meters. In addition, the Artificial skin (人工皮膚, Jinkō hifu) that maintains its flexibility down to -200°C, even at extremely low temperatures, and the heat insulation effect of High Steel protect living tissue from freezing of body fluids and destruction of cells.
  • Air Jet (エアージェット, Eā Jetto): An air injection equipment for underwater propulsion. On land, using it when jumping gives X amazing jumping power and allows him to rise again from a free fall state.

Ridol[]

The Ridol (ライドル, Raidoru) is X-Rider's transformation belt and main weapon, kept in his belt until it's needed. The Ridol is a multipurpose weapon with four buttons that each activate a mode.

Cruiser[]

Main article: Cruiser

The Cruiser (クルーザー, Kurūzā) is X-Rider's motorcycle, able to travel land, sea, and air. X-Rider can use the Cruiser to execute the "Crusier Big Loop" (クルーザー大回転, Kurūzā Dai Kaiten)/"Crusier Attack" (クルーザーアタック, Kurūzā Atakku) combo to take out his opponents.

KamenRide: X (カメンライドX, Kamenraido Ekkusu) is the Kamen Ride Card which contains the power of Kamen Rider X. In All Riders vs. Dai-Shocker, Decade Complete Form Jumbo Formation performed the Final Dimension Kick, a variation of the Dimension Kick, transforming the Shōwa Riders, including Kamen Rider X, and Heisei Riders into Kamen Ride cards for Decade to travel through as opposed to Final Attack Ride cards before hitting the target.

In theory, this card would allow Kamen Rider Decade to transform into X-Rider.

KRO-X Medal

X Medal

X Medal (Xメダル, Ekkusu Medaru): A Core Medal bearing the mark of Kamen Rider X. The X Medal appears on-screen in Movie War Mega Max, when the Seven Legendary Riders are captured by Lem Kannagi. X, along with Amazon and Stronger, were turned into Medals (while Rider 1, Rider 2, V3, and Riderman were turned into Astroswitches) and kept in a suitcase by a member of Foundation X. The Riders were able to return back to normal when OOO inserted the Medals into the OOO Driver and performed a Scanning Charge.

KRFo-X Switch

X Switch

X Switch (Xスイッチ, Ekkusu Suitchi, Cross): An Astroswitch bearing the likeness of Kamen Rider X. It is exclusive to Kamen Rider Battle: Ganbaride, where it can be used by Kamen Rider Fourze to arm him with the X Module (Xモジュール, Ekkusu Mojūru) on his right leg, which has an extending Ridol-like part to enhance kicking damage.

KRWi-X Wizard Ring

X Wizard Ring

This X Wizard Ring (Xウィザードリング, Ekkusu Wizādo Ringu) which bears the likeness of Kamen Rider X is exclusive to Kamen Rider Wizard's Wizard Ring toyline. When used by a Wizardriver wearer, it would be able to summon X-Rider.

Kamen Rider X Lockseed (仮面ライダーXロックシード, Kamen Raidā Ekkusu Rokkushīdo): A Lockseed bearing the likeness of Kamen Rider X, created when X was defeated in the battle between the Showa Riders and Heisei Riders. [Heisei Rider vs. Showa Rider: Kamen Rider Taisen feat. Super Sentai] The core image depicts the Ridol while the lid backside image depicts the Ridol Stick. When inserted into a Sengoku Driver or when channeled through the Showa Rider Lockseed, it would allow an Armored Rider to assume X Arms (Xアームズ, Ekuksu Āmuzu). It is styled for Bravo and Knuckle in the toyline.

X Ridewatch (Ｘライドウォッチ, Ekkusu Raidowotchi): Based on Kamen Rider X, this Ridewatch would provide access to the XArmor. It is dated 1974.

This Ridewatch was obtained by Hiryu Kakogawa through unknown means and was one of the Ridewatches absorbed by him to become Another Ohma Zi-O.
