Kamen Rider W Hyper Battle DVD: Donburi's α/Farewell Beloved Recipe (仮面ライダーW 超バトルDVD 丼のα/さらば愛しのレシピよ, Kamen Raidā Daburu Haipā Batoru Dībuidī: Donburi no Arufa/Saraba Hashi no Reshipi yo) is the Hyper Battle Video of Kamen Rider W, included in the August and September 2010 issues of Televi-Kun
.
This DVD features a cooking contest between Ryu Terui, Akiko Narumi, and Shotaro Hidari, in order to best figure out what the contents of the evil Donburi Dopant are, to eventually discover that he is the Oyakodon Dopant. The Hyper Battle DVD features guest stars Hiroshi as the OmuriFu Shop's Master Izo Aida (相田 伊三, Aida Izō), Reina Fujie of AKB48 as his daughter Eriko Aida (相田 エリコ, Aida Eriko), and Shinichiro Ohta of Iron Chef fame as the voice of the Frog Pod who comments throughout the cooking contest (Ōta also served as the narrator in GoGo Sentai Boukenger).
The catchphrases are Reveal to us the contents of this donburi! (この丼の中身をあばいてみろ！, Kono Donburi no Nakami o abaite miro!) and The strongest Gaia Memory appears !? (最強のガイアメモリ登場!?, Saikyō no Gaia Memori Tōjō!?).
Continuity and Placement[]
- This special takes place not long after episode 32, due to the appearance of Double CycloneJokerXtreme, and Shotaro later explaining in the special following it that the Xtreme Memory was their newest Gaia Memory.
- In the Super Complete Guide Book of W, this take place after episode 35.
Synopsis[]
A mysterious Dopant only known as the Donburi Dopant appears. Philip discovers that the only way to defeat it is to find out what kind of donburi meal it is filled with. The Narumi Detective Office cook different original donburi meals, the "Hard-Boiledon" (ハードボイル丼, Hādoboirudon) by Shotaro, the "Acceldon" (アクセル丼, Akuserudon) by Ryu, and the "Doubledon" (ダブル丼, Daburudon) by Akiko, with Philip being the judge of the contest to discover what is inside the Dopant. The donburi filling is eventually identified as oyakodon, thus making Shotaro the contest's winner and identifying the Dopant as the Oyakodon Dopant.
