Kamen Rider Kiva: You Can Also be Kiva (仮面ライダーキバ キミもキバになろう, Kamen Raidā Kiba: Kimi mo Kiba ni Narō) is the Hyper Battle DVD for Kamen Rider Kiva. Wataru Kurenai, Keisuke Nago, and Otoya Kurenai introduce themselves to a boy (the viewer) who has wandered into the Café mald'amour and offer to teach him how he can be like each of them. This DVD is referred to as an Adventure Battle DVD (アドベンチャーバトルDVD, Adobenchā Batoru Dī Bui Dī) and it takes on the form of a Choose Your Own Adventure story. After having an "Ixa-cise" with Nago and a special lesson from Otoya, a Fangire attacks and the viewer can choose to transform Kiva into Garulu Form, Basshaa Form, Dogga Form, or the secret DoGaBaKi Emperor Form.

Continuity and Placement

• Like Hibiki's Hyper Battle Video, this special is non-canon, as Wataru, Otoya and Nago appear together.

Summary

Wataru, Nago, and Otoya introduce themselves to a boy (the viewer) who wandered into the Café mald'amour and offer to teach him how he can be like them. From this point on, it takes the form of a Choose Your Own Adventure story, where the viewer chooses how to progress through the DVD. After Nago starts with his multi-step "Ixa-cise" with Wataru and Otoya unable to keep up, he recaps the current Ixa model's fights. Then Otoya takes his turn with his "Special Lesson" until Nago scolds him as Otoya tells him that the 1986 model is just as strong as the present model. Wataru stops the two men's quarrel before he and Kivat explain Kiva's entire arsenal and forms. But when the Bloody Rose sounds, Wataru and the boy arrive to save a man from the Rat Fangire with Kivat biting the boy so he can become Kiva and battle the Rat Fangire with Wataru watching until the Fangire's clones arrive. But Ixa '86 and Rising Ixa even the odds. At this point, Kiva can choose to change into Garulu Form, Basshaa Form, Dogga Form, or a secret form that Kivat says he's never seen before. When the secret mode is chosen, Kiva uses Tatsulot and all three Arms Monster weapons to assume DoGaBaKi Emperor Form to finish the Fangires off with his DoGaBaKi Emperor Break attack. No matter which form is chosen, Kiva defeats the Fangires and the others express how proud they are of the boy as they bid their goodbyes to him.

• While Kabuto's Hyper Battle Video was the first to feature a new Rider Form exclusive to the special, this is the first HBV where the Primary Rider gains his own HBV-exclusive form.
