Kamen Rider Juuga VS Kamen Rider Orteca (仮面ライダージュウガVS仮面ライダーオルテカ, Kamen Raidā Jūga Tai Kamen Raidā Oruteka) is a two-episode TTFC
-exclusive web series set within the continuity of Kamen Rider Revice. In the special, George Karizaki is tasked with hunting down Orteca after the latter has escaped from Blue Bird custody.
The catchphrase is We don't need 2 geniuses... The starring role will be me. No, it's me! (天才は、2人もいらない…… 主役は私だ。いや、私だ！, Tensai wa, Futari mo iranai... Shuyaku wa Watashi da. Iya, Watashi da!).
Production[]
The existence of Kamen Rider Orteca was accidentally leaked on licensed T-shirts sold by Premium Bandai on August 26, 2022.[1] Two days later, after the broadcast of Revice's finale on August 28, 2022, the Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club Twitter account announced that if they were to reach 100,000 followers, they "may" release a special titled Kamen Rider J**ga VS Kamen Rider Or**ca to celebrate the follower milestone as promised.[2] On September 23, 2022, the official twitter account announced that they had reached the target and thus the Kamen Rider Juuga VS Kamen Rider Orteca special would be moving forward in-production.[3]
In December of 2022, Kamen Rider Orteca's transformation Vistamp was first seen displayed in the Kamen Rider 50 Years Exhibition.[4]
A teaser trailer was released on March 3, 2023, shortly after the TTFC-release for Revice Forward: Kamen Rider Live & Evil & Demons.[5]
On March 26, 2023, Rei Yoshii and Taira Imata were announced to be reprising their roles as Rinna Sawagami and Genpachiro Otta from Kamen Rider Drive respectively[6], with an additional appearances from Kamen Rider Girls member Chisato Akita, former Zyuohger-star Naoki Kunishima, and long-time suit actor Yasuhiko Imai.[7]
A visual poster revealing the front of Kamen Rider Orteca was released on April 16, 2023.[8]
The main song of the original drama, Itoshi no Frenemy was revealed on April 29, 2023, the day before its release. It was released on midnight on music platforms, some hours before the release.[9]

- This special marks Mei Hanakawa's first credit as Hana Natsuki with her new stage name, Hikari Kabashima, after she left LIBERA in December 2022.

- This special contains several references to past Kamen Rider series.
- When George sees the Brachio Deadman, he recites Woz's "Iwae!" ("Rejoice!") catchphrase as he performs Zi-O's pose and a clock chime sound effect is heard.
- Michiru Haruyama performing Kamen Rider Wizard's pose and possessing the Crocodile Vistamp is a reference to her actress, Chisato Akita, previously representing Wizard in Kamen Rider Girls.
- The katakana for "Itteiiyo!" is written on Rinna's hammer, referencing the Shingou-Ax.
- George tells Rinna he will promise to solve Genpachiro's cheating case "at Mach speed".
- Before using his finisher, George performs Eternal's trademark thumbs-down.
- The Zenrin Shooter, Break Gunner, and Shingou-Ax are used by Orteca and Juuga in this special.
