The film begins with Gamou, Hayami, and Tatsugami selling all 12 copies of the Horoscope switches to Foundation X, however they are smoke-screened by Inga Blink who attempts to take the switches for herself. As she is overpowered by Leo, Black Knight arrives to assist her, allowing them both to escape with the switches with intent to use them for galactic warfare. With Gamou unable to do anything, he decides to entrust defeating them to Fourze and Meteor.

The member of the Kamen Rider Club are brought to the Rabbit Hutch to meet Shizuka Shiroyama, who wishes to recruit the Kamen Rider Club on behalf of OSTO Legacy to defend Earth. On the way to OSTO HQ, they are attacked by Black Knight, whom Shizuka explains is a Space Ironman, a mechanical lifeform created from pure Cosmic Energy. Inga Blink, having been sent by the Arissia Union, intercepts the transport convoy, but they are stopped by Fourze and Ryusei and retreats.

The Club arrives at OSTO HQ where they learn from Shizuki and OST chief Harumi Saeba, that five years ago, a duo of Space Ironmen, Groundain and Skydain had used a satellite weapon called XVII to destroy an island in the Pacific Ocean. With the weapon in their control, they plan on revolting against humanity. OSTO tasks the club with the objective of destroying XVII. To prepare, the club undergoes several stages of training and prepares for deployment. The following morning as they prepare for liftoff, they are suddenly attacked by pure energetic copies of the 12 Apostles created from Inga’s stolen switches. Gentaro and Ryusei use the Astro Switches and Meteor Galaxy to destroy the majority of them, but sturggle against the final few. Just as it seems they're about to miss their flight, Kamen Rider Wizard arrives to assist them. Gentaro and Ryusei rejoin the club aboard the Exodus left behind by Lem Kannagi while Wizard destroys the remaining Horoscopes with his magic attacks.

Shizuka tasks the club to destroy all four of the XVII’s energy cores by splitting everyone into pairs: (Gentaro/Yuuki, Ryusei/Tomoko, Shun/Miu, and Shizuka/JK), while Kengo stayed behind to pull the trigger on the bombs. However Inga and Black Knight board the ship to disrupt their plans. Ryusei and Tomoko stay behind to fight Inga, while the others make their way to the brain room with Black Knight on their tail. As Ryusei noticed, both him and Inga use the same style of martial arts. After being overwhelmed by Inga’s determination, Ryusei escapes with Tomoko. As everyone sets their bombs, Shizuka mischievously smiles as Kengo activates the timers, while Inga attempts to stop Tomoko from setting her bomb. However, she hesitates to shoot, allowing the bomb to explode.

After reminiscing on her father’s death, she reveals to Tomoko and Ryusei that by blowing the ship up, it actually allowed the Space Ironmen to regain their full strength. They regroup with Gentaro’s group in the brain room and confront Saeba and Shizuka, who transform into Groundain and Skydain. Inga explains that the Kyodain were created by her father Dr. Blink, but they gained sentience and went out of control. Dr. Blink tried to destroy them, but they survived and ended up killing him instead. However, dampeners were set up around XVII to inhibit the Kyodain as humans until the Club had unknowingly destroyed them under Shizuka’s direction. After Black Knight is heroically defeated by the Kyodain, Gentaro and Ryusei transform into Fourze and Meteor, while Igna goes to help the rest of the Club evade the Dustards.

Gentaro and Ryusei are utterly defeated, and the Kyodain threaten the people of Earth using a warning beam from a transformed XVII. The Club escapes on the Exodus and returns to the Rabbit Hutch. Gentaro and Ryusei are saved by the XVII A.I, who reveals that the ship will blow soon. Gentaro tries to convince it to not to as he transforms into Cosmicstates. He warp drives to the exterior of the XVII and brings it to the crater on the moon, but at the cost of exhausting all 40 of his switches. With no switches able to be used, the XVII transmits data for the Fusion Switch, but making it requires the bonds of 40 people. They return to the school and distribute the switches to several students and staff members, who all resonate with Gentaro using their previously established bonds with him. Inga and Kengo return to the XVII to give Gentaro the switch, who transforms into Kamen Rider Fourze, Meteor Fusionstates. Fourze fights the two on the crater of the moon and emerges victorious.

With XVII no longer in the Kyodain’s control it thanks Fourze and his team for saving it, accepting Gentaro's friendship, and flies off to parts unknown. Ryusei meets Inga at their martial arts temple and reassures her that she has a friend she can rely on. At school, everyone is amazed Gentaro was able to befriend a machine. He then turns to the audience and promises to befriend them as well

Notes[]

  • "Space is Here!" is the literal translation of the Japanese phrase Uchū Kitā!, which Gentarou also uses as his catchphrase after his henshin. In that context, some translations render this as "Space is awesome!" or "It's space time!", due to the idiomatic use of kitā as an exclamation of excitement (akin to the English "OMG!"). Hence, this title could also be translated as, "Everyone, Space is Awesome!"
  • Kamen Rider Wizard makes an "early-bird" cameo towards the middle of the film. In the Director's Cut version of the film that was released after Kamen Rider Wizard had already begun airing, "Life is SHOW TIME" is played in the background during his scenes.
  • Sanae Hitomi, who is Skydain's suit actor in this movie (as well as being a frequent suit actor in both the Kamen Rider and Super Sentai franchises) makes an out-of-suit cameo during the training montage, where she can be seen helping Yuki during Basic Training and later teaching the Kamen Rider Club in the Unarmed Fighting course.
  • The film acknowledge the events of Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider Fourze & OOO: Movie War Mega Max through the use of the salvaged Exodus and the mention of Lem Kannagi, as well as Gamou's continued cooperation with Foundation X. Footage from the film is reused during the scene the Exodus is about to launch, with added explosions.
