Plot[]

20 years from the end of Kamen Rider Blade, and some time after the events of Kamen Rider Zi-O, Kazuma Kenzaki and Hajime Aikawa have been turned into the Joker Undead once again by the Destroyer, to restart the Battle Fight anew.

The Caucasus Undead, unsealed from BOARD's laboratory, is on a mission to reseal the two Jokers and win the Battle Fight again. Having also freed a number of other and brainwashed them into personal minions, including the Tiger Undead, Caucasus finds Hajime as the latter is still wondering why he has been turned into the Joker Undead once more. Caucasus overpowers Kamen Rider Chalice in battle and steals the Mantis Undead card, rendering him unable to transform. Before things can go further, Sakuya Tachibana appears and transforms into Kamen Rider Garren, saving Hajime from Caucasus. Caucasus unseals the Mantis Undead from the card and asks the latter to help him hunt down the two Jokers, which Mantis reluctantly agrees to do.

As Hajime and Sakuya are recuperating, Caucasus and Mantis find them. Mantis, in particular, desires to settle the score with Hajime, as it is bitter over how the latter has been using its power for such a long time. Hajime, however, refuses to fight back. Mantis tries its best to provoke Hajime into fully embracing his Joker instincts, but ultimately fails. Dissatisfied, Mantis leaves the fight, but is stopped by Caucasus, who attempts to subdue and brainwash it. Mantis manages to escape before that happens, but Caucasus defeats and seals Hajime into a Rouze Card. Before Caucasus and minions can kill Sakuya, Mutsuki Kamijo intervenes, transforming into Kamen Rider Leangle to save his mentor from further harm. Leangle uses the Blizzard card as a distraction, allowing him and Sakuya to escape. Mutsuki leaves his senior in the care of Shiori Hirose before going off to fight Caucasus, determined to take back Hajime's card.

Elsewhere, the Mantis Undead succeeds in locating Kenzaki - the other Joker Undead. Upon seeing Mantis, Kenzaki knows something has gone wrong with Hajime, and transforms into Kamen Rider Blade to beat some information out of it. Blade wins against Mantis, learning from the latter how Hajime has been sealed by Caucasus in a plot to bait the other Joker. After this, Kenzaki seals Mantis into a card of his own.

While Caucasus is still trying to find Garren, Mutsuki shows up before the King of Spades, demanding that it give up Hajime's card. Caucasus sends the Tiger Undead to fight Leangle in its stead. Initially struggling, Mutsuki only steels his resolve once the spirit of Hikaru Jo within the Tiger Undead encourages him to give his all. He finally seals Hikaru, who comments on how much Mutsuki has matured. Using the Absorb Queen card he has just gained from Tiger's sealing, Leangle transforms into King Form to avenge his friend. Leangle's new form outmatches Caucasus in battle, as the former overpowers the latter with a Royal Straight Flush, enabling Hajime's card to be returned to Mutsuki. However, King Form's power is too much for Mutsuki to handle, resulting in his being reverted back to Ace Form just before Caucasus can be sealed.

Caucasus laughs at Mutsuki for thinking a mere human can hope to perfectly control the power of Undead. Striving to take back Joker's card from its enemy, it fires an attack at Leangle with the intention to kill. Kenzaki arrives in just the right minute to stop the hit, using his Time Scarab card to freeze time for a moment before counterattacking, saving Mutsuki's life. Mutsuki promptly uses the Remote card to free Hajime from being sealed. Kenzaki returns Hajime the Change Mantis card, and the two do battle with Caucasus, which is then soundly defeated by the combined effort of Chalice and Blade. Unable to get any more information from the Undead on the current situation, Kenzaki seals it.

Kenzaki and Hajime barely have any time to rest following the battle, as the Destroyer descends upon them. Announcing its purpose of plunging the world into further chaos, the new enemy overwhelms Blade and Chalice, forcing them out of their transformation. Mutsuki and Sakuya come to assist the two, and the four band together to protect the world from the Destroyer.

After quickly dispatching the Destroyer's underlings, all four Kamen Riders transform into their Final Forms to deal with their primary foe. After being weakened by four Finishers from each Rider, the Destroyer is vanquished by Kenzaki's Four Cards combo, powered by his three friends. As they ponder over the nature and origins of the Destroyer, Kenzaki assures them that no matter where the enemies may come from, they will be able to win as long as they stand together. The four exchange a few more words, with Sakuya promising that one day, he will find a way to restore Kenzaki's humanity, prior to each going their separate ways. Kenzaki travels to parts unknown again to avoid being drawn into battle with Hajime, who is welcomed home by Amane Kurihara.

Some time later, in an unknown dimension, the Master of Order has just awakened, seeing that since Kenzaki and Hajime - two Joker Undeads - are still at large, the Battle Fight will keep going on indefinitely. The Ruler of Chaos - revealed to be the cause of the main events that have just transpired - states the world has had enough chaos already, even without its own interference. The Master of Order maintains it will keep bringing order whenever there is chaos at hand, but the Ruler of Chaos remains calm, only commenting that they will be seeing each other many times more in the future.

Notes[]

  • Befitting an anniversary event, multiple references and call-backs to the story of Kamen Rider Blade and its sequels are made in this stage show:
    • Hajime remembers how he and Kenzaki have been stripped of their Joker powers and turned into human, as well as how Amane has been transformed into Another Blade before.
    • The Mantis Undead recalls having been taken advantage of by the Spider Undead and subsequently beaten by Hajime.
    • Mutsuki's relationship with Noboru Shima and Hikaru Jo is highlighted as a source behind his character development. He has to fight and reluctantly seal Hikaru, who acknowledges his maturity. He has also adopted the mannerisms of Shima, relying on the wind to give him directions regarding which way to go.
    • This stageshow features the debut of Kamen Rider Leangle's King Form. This can be seen as a retroactive nod to the first and only time he attempts to do so, which ends in failure.
    • Hajime says a variation of his infamous line "I will kill you!" (俺は貴様をぶっ殺す!, Ore wa kisama wo bukkorosu!), first said in episode 6 of the home series and has since become a meme, during the Kamen Riders' final battle against the Destroyer as Another Blade.
    • The stage show features the first and only time Kenzaki has used his Flare Scarab Rouze Card, which he never uses in the original series
    • The four Riders' final transformation on the stage is a recreation of the first scene in the 1st TV opening theme.
