History

One of the 13 Kamen Riders chosen in the Rider Fight which was restarted in 2019, this man was the new wielder of the Abyss deck. He was swiftly defeated by Kamen Rider Knight.

Contract Monsters
Abyss is unusual among the Kamen Riders in that he has two Contract Monsters: the Abysslasher (アビスラッシャー, Abisurasshā), a humanoid shark that can fire high pressure streams of water, and the Abysshammer (アビスハンマー, Abisuhanmā), a humanoid hammerhead shark. As Kamen Rider Abyss, he uses his Final Vent to combine his Contract Monsters into a creature known as Abyssodon (アビソドン, Abisodon), a single giant mechanical shark with a chainsaw attachment (giving it the appearance of a sawshark when in use) and machine gun eyes (giving it the appearance of a hammerhead shark when in use). Unlike other Riders in the Mirror World, the loss of the Contract Monsters did not result to Abyss going into Blank Form.

• Advent Deck - Advent Card holders, also used as a key to transformation. As long as Imperer holds one, he can detect the presence of other Riders and Mirror Monsters inside the Mirror World, as well as surviving without dying when return to the real world
• V-Buckle - Transformation belt materialized from a mirror reflection.
• Advent Cards - Cards that supply the user powers, weapons and Mirror Monsters (if they catch any).
• Abyss Visor - Using his Visor and his Advent Cards in conjunction with his Abyss Visor (アビスバイザー, Abisu Baizā), Abyss can perform various Vents, just as any Rider from Kamen Rider Ryuki.

Behind the scenes

Portrayal

The user of Kamen Rider Abyss is portrayed by Kenji Tominaga (富永 研司, Tominaga Kenji), who is also the suit actor. After transformed, Abyss is voiced by Yasunao Sakai (坂井 易直, Sakai Yasunao).
