Kagemasa Shizumiya (鎮宮 影正, Shizumiya Kagemasa) is the younger brother of Masahito Shizumiya, who transformed into Armored Rider Proto Ryugen (アーマードライダープロト龍玄［リュウゲン］, Āmādo Raidā Puroto Ryuugen).

Budou Arms (ブドウアームズ, Budou Āmuzu, lit. "Grape Arms") is Proto Ryugen's default grape-based armored Chinese Soldier form. Accessed through the Budou Lockseed, this form bears the Syoryumen (招龍面, Shōryūmen, lit. "Summoned Dragon Face") helmet.
While assuming Budou Arms, Proto Ryugen dons the Budou Armor Part (ブドウアーマーパート, Budou Āmā Pāto, lit. "Grape Armor Part") and his Arms Weapon is the Budou Ryuhou.
