"Hurricane Ninja's ending is the destruction of the world!"

"I AM GOD!"
―Johnny Makishima's proclamation before transforming into Gamedeus Machina[src]

Johnny Makishima[src] (ジョニー・マキシマ, Jonī Makishima) is the main antagonist of Kamen Rider Ex-Aid: True Ending. He was the CEO of Machina Vision who transformed into Gamedeus Machina (ゲムデウスマキナ, Gemudeusu Makina).

History[]

Background[]

Johnny Makishima is the CEO of Machina Vision, a foreign-affiliated company focusing on virtual reality game development. He is often seen dressed in a kimono and carries a folding fan. While Makishima is appreciative towards Japanese culture, especially ninjas, he is still green with the language and the culture. He led his company to develop virtual reality games and offer his customers an "eternal world" through game entertainment.

Business Deal With Genm Corp.[]

Johnny Makishima and Machina Vision began negotiating with Masamune Dan to distribute Genm Corp.'s Kamen Rider Chronicle worldwide. Makishima would agree under the condition that he would receive a single Gamer Driver. Despite Kamen Rider Cronus seizing the majority of CR's Gamer Drivers, he lost them after accessing Reset.

During their business dinner, Masamune apologizes to Makishima that he couldn't provide him with a Gamer Driver. Nevertheless, Makishima does not pursue to push for Kamen Rider Chronicle's worldwide release and instead focusing on developing his own game. After Graphite's final destruction, he is seen taking the Gashacon Bugvisor. Makishima witnesses the arrival of Gamedeus and comments how Kamen Rider Chronicle is entering its final stage.

Gamedeus Machina[]

Sometime after the demise of Kamen Rider Cronus, Johnny Makishima began to enact his plan to integrate humanity into a virtual simulation to create an "eternal paradise". He orchestrated in the hacking of Genm Corp.'s servers to steal the Gamer Driver and Rider Gashat schematics to manufacture their own Gamer Driver and the Hurricane Ninja Gashat, giving rise to Kamen Rider Fuma.

Taking advantage of Kagenari Nagumo's concern over Madoka Hoshi, he has her unlock a special Gashatrophy to exacerbate her Game Illness. Makishima reveals his transformation into Gamedeus Machina and declares himself to the Kamen Riders as a "God". Makishima tried to lead the world to the fate of destruction with his omnipotent power, but Gamedeus Machina was vanquished by Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Muteki Gamer under the belief that the power of people to live can change fate, and Makishima's ambitions had reached its ending.

Personality[]

Not much to be known about Johnny's traits, except that he is a CEO whose god complex is already shown before the involvement of Bugster virus. Although self-proclaimed as a fan of Japanese cultures, including ninja, Kiriya pointed on his poor research of mistaking the kanji for "Negi" ( welsh onion) as "Shinobi" ( "ninja").
