This article is about a location in the Kamen Rider Series. |
Johnan University (城南大学, Jōnan Daigaku) is a recurring fictional college in the Kamen Rider Series. It stands out among other fictional locations due to being one of the few recurring setting elements throughout various series and movies.
Some Kamen Riders and their allies have studied there. During the original series, its labs and personal often helped the Riders deal with Shocker's various plans. Later the same happens during one episode of Skyrider. In Kuuga, the archeology department ends up directly involved with the mystery of Kuuga and the Gurongi.
Kamen Rider Hibiki and the movie Kamen Rider 1 introduced high schools associated with the university. A version of Johnan University also seems to exist in the World of Kuuga as its name is seen in a newspaper there.
