John (ジョン, Jon) is a bodyguard working for Neon Kurama. In the past, he participated in the Desire Grand Prix as Kamen Rider Garun (仮面ライダーガルン, Kamen Raidā Garun) alongside fellow bodyguard Ben.
History[]
Desire Grand Prix[]
Sometime before becoming bodyguards, John and Ben participated in the Desire Grand Prix. Given that they did not have any memories of the game prior to reclaiming their Rider Core IDs in Kousei Kurama's office, it is possible the two lost via retirement. After their retirement from DGP, they are employed as bodyguards of Neon while their Core ID is in possession of Kousei.

Yearning Arc[]
John and Ben regained their memories of the Desire Grand Prix when they were recruited by Tsumuri to take down Kamen Rider Buffa. However, they were both defeated. Buffa then crushed their Core IDs, causing them to vanish.[Yearning I: Buffa Unrivaled!]
After John was eliminated, he still remain working for Kurama Family as Neon's bodyguard along with Ben.
Genesis Arc[]
It can be assumed that John was among those who were allowed to regain their memories of being Riders after Ace took control of the DGP.
Personality[]
John is a very serious man, dedicated to defend Neon Kurama with his life. However, he does show a more lighthearted side, being a fan of the Star Of The Stars Of The Stars, eagerly asking for his autograph.

- Combatant: As a bodyguard, John is capable of fighting, though he was later overpowered and killed by a Wasou Jyamato in the timeline of the first Desire Grand Prix.

Entry Form (エントリーフォーム, Entorī Fōmu), also known as Entry Raise Form (エントリーレイズフォーム, Entorī Reizu Fōmu), is Garun's base suit, accessed through the sole usage of the Garun Core ID.
Entry Form consists of the following parts:
- Garun Head (ガルンヘッド, Garun Heddo): The head.
- Garun Crest Gear (ガルンクレストギア, Garun Kuresuto Gia): Garun's head-mounted device. It expands the player's head functions and protects the head with lightweight yet extremely strong composite armor. With a shape that symbolizes the Rider's crest on the ID Core, it also functions as a visual aid to increase Garun's visibility.
- Garun Eye (ガルンアイ, Garun Ai): Garun's compound eyes. The visual information obtained here is transmitted via an internal display, protecting the player's eyes from intense light such as explosions that suddenly occur during a game. They are also equipped with an ultra-sensitive sensor that can precisely capture the behavior of a target.
- Audit Signal (オーディットシグナル, Ōditto Shigunaru): Garun's inspection device. By constantly monitoring the Kamen Rider's condition, it diagnoses the continuity of transformation based on operating efficiency, damage, etc., and cancels the transformation if necessary.
- Blank Crusher (ブランククラッシャー, Buranku Kurasshā): Garun's mouth section. The voice chat function enables clear conversations even with loud noise, allowing communication between Kamen Riders during cooperative play, etc.
- Desire Basic (デザイアベーシック, Dezaia Bēshikku): The suit-type gaming device. Using energy supplied from the Desire Driver, it raises the output of the player's physical abilities.
- Progressive Arm (プログレッシブアーム, Puroguresshibu Āmu): Entry Form's arms. They produce enough power to defeat the Jyamato by increasing the player's arm strength. Furthermore, various functions can be added by attaching expansion equipment.
- Entry Glove (エントリーグローブ, Entorī Gurōbu): Entry Form's gloves. They can be configured for high sensitivity to perform more delicate work than can be done with bare hands. They can also be customized with the features of various Raise Buckles.
- Progressive Leg (プログレッシブレッグ, Puroguresshibu Reggu): Entry Form's legs. They increase the player's leg strength to raise the game's survival rate. Furthermore, various functions can be added by attaching expansion equipment.
- Entry Boots (エントリーブーツ, Entorī Būtsu): Entry Form's boots. They boast excellent jumping power and running performance on the game field. They can also be customized with the features of various Raise Buckles.

Armed Hammer adds the following parts:
- Armed Garun Head (アームドガルンヘッド, Āmudo ガルン Heddo): The head. Vision is enhanced by the Armed equipment.
- Armed Bright Eye (アームドブライトアイ, Āmudo Buraito Ai): The compound eyes. In addition to the normal visual functions, they are optimized for the operation of the expansion armament that each Armed equipment carries.
- Shoulder Shell (ショルダーシェル, Shorudā Sheru): The right shoulder armor. The strong armor protects the Kamen Rider's right shoulder.

Beat Form consists of the following parts:
- Beat Garun Head (ビートガルンヘッド, Bīto Garun Heddo): The head. Each function is expanded by the Beat Buckle.
- Pink Garun Eye (ピンクガルンアイ, Pinku Garun Ai): The compound eyes. They visualize sounds in various forms such as equalizers and musical notation, enabling easy performance of a music piece heard for the first time.
- Beat Crusher (ビートクラッシャー, Bīto Kurasshā): The mouth section. The voice chat function enables clear conversations even with loud noise, allowing communication between Kamen Riders during cooperative play, etc.

- Funder Chester (ファンダチェスター, Fanda Chesutā): The chest expansion equipment. Equipped with a mechanism that amplifies sound and emits it from speakers on both sides, at maximum output it boasts volume loud enough to blow objects away with sound pressure.
- Active Beat A (アクティブビートA, Akutibu Bīto Ē): The shoulder expansion equipment. It is equipped with a noise canceling function that negates ambient noise, etc., with opposite phase sound waves, dramatically improving the music's sound quality and effectiveness.
- Spectral Effecter (スペクトルエフェクター, Supekutoru Efekutā): The arm expansion equipment. It adds special effects to music to produce various effects, such as inspiring and calming the target, or exciting them to the point of dancing uncontrollably.
