Jogen (ジョウゲン, Jōgen) was a member of Quartzer who transforms into Kamen Rider Zamonas (仮面ライダーザモナス, Kamen Raidā Zamonasu) in Kamen Rider Zi-O: Over Quartzer.
History
Kamen Rider Zi-O: Over Quartzer
Jogen appears in the front of Sougo Tokiwa, Geiz Myokoin, and Go Shijima at Krim Steinbelt's location as he transforms into Kamen Rider Zamonas to battle against Zi-O, Geiz, and Mach, but he decides to escape after he obtains the precious item belonging to Steinbelt's ancestor and warns the heroes that Kamen Rider Drive's history will disappear.
Zamonas was seen battling against Nobunaga's Army in his Castle Doran themed Time Mazine and had a small battle against Geiz with his Time Mazine but was defeated by Geiz. Later, Jogen and Kagen was seen standing next to their leader SOUGO Tokiwa alongside with other members and called themselves as Quartzer, the Wardens of History. Kamen Rider Zamonas alongside Zonjis were killed after they were defeated by Heisei Riders.

Personality
Jogen is shown to be loyal to SOUGO and the Quartzer like Kagen. However, unlike Kagen, Jogen is calmer and more demure. Because of this, he prefers to fight with tactics rather than with raw power.

Zamonas is able to fight with a surprise attack with wild and agile movements.[2][3] This form's finisher is Zamonas Time Break (ザモナスタイムブレーク, Zamonasu Taimu Burēku): Zamonas focuses power into his right leg, making it glow red and blue as he slams into the enemy with a Flying Side Kick.

Portrayal
Jogen is portrayed by Syuusuke Saito, who previously portrayed Ian Yorkland/Kyoryu Black in Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger. As Kamen Rider Zamonas, his suit actor is Hajime Kanzaki (神前 元, Kanzaki Hajime).
Etymology
In Japanese, Jōgen (上弦 ) means the first quarter moon in the lunar phase. It also shares the same pronunciation with Jōgen (上限, lit. "Upper limit"), in contrast to Kagen's name.

- Zamonas' represents Kamen Rider Amazons, a net series reimagining Kamen Rider Amazon that was released during the Heisei Era but is not counted as a main installment.
- Zamonas' name is an anagram of "Amazons".
- The Amazon Alpha, Amazon Omega and Amazon Neo Ridewatches are inserted on his Ridewatch Holder.
- Zamonas' legs and the scale motif are based on Kamen Rider Amazon Alpha, his and helmet resemble Kamen Rider Amazon Omega, and the red-and-blue color scheme as well as the additional armor plating is based on Kamen Rider Amazon Neo.
- Just like the Amazons Riders, Jogen has no transformation pose and his transformation effect is a a burst of heat.
- Jogen's civilian attire is also loosely based on Jin Takayama's appearance from the first season of Amazons.
- Jogen is the only Quartzer Rider who has his own Time Mazine.
- Jogen's Time Mazine Model was used previously by Ora.
- Additionally, his Time Mazine has the same motif as Castle Doran.
- According to PLEX designer Takato Yamashita, the original Zamonas conception tended to represent both the Amazons Riders from Amazons and the Kamen Riders from Kamen Rider The First and The Next. However, this conception was fell through since Yamashita thought that it was "impossible."[4]
- A concept art of Zamonas shown that he is able to take off his mantle and other accessories similar to Kamen Rider Zonjis.
