Etymology[]
- "Jaldak" is derived from the Romanization of various words for "stomach" in Slavic languages; for example, желу́док (želúdok) in Russian, žaludek in Czech, żołądek in Polish, etc.
Design[]
- The Granute forms of Bocca and Lizel are based on gods from the Cthulhu Mythos, paralleling the members of the Stomach Family having creatures from Nordic mythology as a motif.
