Ixalion[1] (イクサリオン, Ikusarion) is a hyper-motorcycle produced by the Wonderful Blue Sky Organization, also known as the War Lion (戦獅子, Ikusa Shishi)[2]. Like the Ixa Belt and Powerd Ixer, it forms part of the Ixa System, but it did not exist in the past (1986) and is only used in the present age (2008).
Overview[]
Because it has more power than Kamen Rider Kiva's Machine Kivaa and is equipped with a high-output next-generation engine, non-Ixa wearers can only draw out 1/10 of its performance[3][4], and for those with high physical ability who have been chosen as the wearer of Ixa only can draw out even 10% of its performance[2]. In addition, although there are many Ixa's transformants, only the Burst Mode that Keisuke Nago transformed into was actually used, and Nago has dealt with it since before the transformation.
Machine Specs[]
- Height: 1120mm
- Overall length: 2030mm
- Width: 720mm
- Weight: 172kg
- Maximum output: about 650 horsepower
- Maximum speed: 753km/h
Body Parts[]
Like the Ixa Suit, the fairing is made mainly of Ixa Platinum (イクサプラチナ, Ikusa Purachina), which is light and strong, and in theory it cannot be penetrated by tank bombardment[2]. An excellent rectification design is applied, leading the body and Rider to the world over 700km at once. Near the front imitates the face of Ixa's Save Mode, and the letters "IXALION" under the winker.
- Anti-Bullet Screen (アンチバレットスクリーン, Anchi Baretto Sukurīn): An anti-bullet glass front screen made by High Glassy Co., Ltd., which not only provides an excellent rectification effect during ultra-high speed driving, but also repels zero-distance shooting with 50 caliber magnum bullets. It has the same ballistic resistance as Ixamet's Protect Window.
- Third Eye (サードアイ, Sādo Ai): Ixalion's artificial sensor, a sensor that detects information 180 degrees ahead without the Rider's operation and automatically steers the machine with the auto steering function.
- Corona Flasher (コロナフラッシャー, Korona Furasshā): Equipped with two Super HID Lights (スーパーHIDライト, Sūpā Eichi Ai Di Raito, lit. "Super High-Intensity Discharge Lights"), it illuminates 200m ahead like midday to ensure visibility, and by firing a fierce strobe, it has a flashing function that deprives the enemy of sight. It boasts the same power as the Sol Flashers on both shoulders of Ixa.
- Multi-Gun Pod (マルチガンポッド, Maruchi Gan Poddo): A multi-weapon barrel equipped on the front part of the car body and both sides of the front wheels that can be converted to heat source-detecting homing bullets or rail guns, depending on the type of cartridge loaded[2]. Not used in the series.
- Hyper Caliper 6 (ハイパーキャリパー6, Haipā Kyaripā 6): Equipped with 6 electromagnetic brake pistons, it produces strong stopping power. Braking distance by full braking from top speed is only 20m. There is no locking with ABS equipment, and the Gravity Balancer (グラビティバランサー, Gurabiti Baransā) inside the car body works even with sudden braking operation, and the car body does not roll forward.
- Fuel Tank (フューエルタンク, Fuyūeru Tanku): It can store 22L of Super Nitromethane (スーパーニトロメタン, Sūpā Nitorometan) fuel. The cruising range with a full tank is about 320km. The emblem of the Wonderful Blue Sky Organization shines on the side of the tank.
- Guardian Engine: Type Blue Sky (ガーディアンエンジン・タイプブルースカイ, Gādian Enjin - Taipu Burū Sukai): It is a next-generation engine that produces a high output of 477.75kw developed exclusively for the Ixalion, and uses a newly developed synthetic fuel called Super Nitromethane[2][3]. The rev limit (restriction speed) is 25000 rpm, and if it is rotated beyond that, the limiter works and has a cool-down function that shifts the engine to automatic cooling mode. The Guardian Engine is the world's strongest engine for motorcycles, but its transcendent high power and shrewd character make it extremely difficult for ordinary people to handle.
- Holding Seat (ホールディングシート, Hōrudingu Shīto): The seat that securely holds the hips of the Ixa Suit and grips it without being shaken off by Ixalion's sudden action. Newly developed Non-Slip Rubber (ノンスリップラバー, Non Surippu Rabā) is used.
- Hyper EXP Charger III (ハイパーEXPチャージャーⅢ, Haipā EXP Chājā III): A sub-engine with a built-in 3rd generation extra power charger that ignites when the Ixalion enters an ultra-high speed range exceeding 500 km, generating further acceleration[2]. Its acceleration force creates a strong G that is unbearable for anyone other than a human wearing the Ixa System, and ordinary people would faint first.
- Reuchelin Tire Pilot Star SS (ルシュランタイヤ・パイロットスターSS, Rushuran Taiya Pairotto Sutā SS): A high-grip tire exclusively for Ixalion, developed by Reuchelin, the world's top tire manufacturer[2][3]. The gripping force generated by the special compound grips the road surface without losing the high power generated by the Ixalion engine and kicks out super speed.
Other appearance[]
All Rider Break[]
Ixa, joined by Saga got on his Ixalion, among many other Kamen Riders and their Rider Machines, to perform the All Rider Break attack which ended the final battle with Rock Great Leader. [OOO, Den-O, All Riders: Let's Go Kamen Riders]
Notes[]
- There is no Fuestles associated with this bike.
- The base vehicle for shooting is Honda CBR1000RR.[5]
- It is a modified Machine Zectron that appeared in Kamen Rider Kabuto[5], and the upper cowl has been returned to that of the base vehicle, redesigned with a fearless image. The line of the side cowl is inspired by the wing, which is the mark of the Wonderful Blue Sky Organization, and the upper cowl is the closed side of the Ixa. The paint used is similar to Ixa's blue, as well as Machine Kivaa.[6]
