This article is about a monster in Kamen Rider, the original series.

Isoguin Jaguar (イソギンジャガー, Isogin Jagā, 84) - a sea anemone/jaguar monster created by Gel Shocker.

History[]

Yosuke Katsurajo (桂木良助, Katsurajō Yosuke), the father of Maki Katsurajo (桂木マキ, Katsurajō Maki), is captured by Gel Shocker and transformed by them into the monster Isoguin Jaguar. Unlike most Gel Shocker monsters, he is actively remote-controlled by General Black, while suffering immensely due to the control. After being defeated by Kamen Rider 1's Rider Point Kick, he sees his daughter Maki calling him and reverts to human form, regaining his memories and control over his own self.

Other Appearances[]

Kamen Rider (TV Magazine)[]

Amazon and his owner Shingo

AnemoneJaguar was originally a Brazillian jaguar named Amazon (アマゾン), owned as a pet by Shingo and sent to a zoo after he and his dad returned to Japan. General Black later freed Amazon and transformed him into a monster. AnemoneJaguar and Gel-Shocker minions attempt to kill Hongo by dropping rocks on him before attacking and then retreating. Black gives AnemoneJaguar one last chance to defeat Hongo. He attacks Hongo and Shingo at Sakuradai Park by wrapping them up in his tentacles. He recognizes Shingo however, and lets him go. After Hongo transforms, AnemoneJaguar tries to blow him up using bombs strapped to his body in a kamikaze attack. Kamen Rider manages to get the upper hand and destroys AnemoneJaguar. His collar goes flying in the explosion, where Shingo picks it up and realizes he was Amazon all along.

Super Hero Taisen[]

A second Isoguin Jaguar was part of Dai-Shocker during the "Super Hero Taisen" incident. It's visually similar to the original but sports Gel Shocker's standard yellow boots unlike its original counterpart. Dai-Shocker was led by Tsukasa Kadoya/Kamen Rider Decade, rivaling Captain Marvelous/Gokai Red and Dai-Zangyack. However, Rider Hunter Silva of Dai-Zangyack and Doctor G of Dai-Shocker overthrew their respective leaders and joined forces to destroy the Kamen Riders and Super Sentai, facing off against their combined forces.

In the final battle, Isoguin Jaguar was seen in several scenes fighting many Riders and Sentai members, specifically Mega Black, Time Green, Shishi Ranger, Battle France, Kamen Riders, and J. Isoguin Jaguar was destroyed by Kamen Rider OOO's finishing attack with his Medajaribur, the OOO Bash, alongside Hades God Dagon, Scorpion Man, and Goaster. Abilities[]

Isoguin Jaguar is able to move swiftly underwater, bite through rocks, use the feelers for the Isoguin Jaguar Killer Feeler Hold, and use his Isoguin Jaguar Feeler Camouflage to teleport.

It's also able to launch a powerful poison from his back that can melt human flesh.
