The Invention Dopant (発明·ドーパント, Hatsumei Dōpanto), alternatively named Steam Dopant (蒸気·ドーパント, Jōki Dōpanto), is an unused Dopant that was first revealed by Katsuya Terada's comments in a special page for Futo Tantei.
According to Katsuya Terada, this Dopant was the very first Dopant he designed back in 2008, before the Magma Dopant. This monster was cancelled because it was impossible to give it a costume with currently available technology. In 2019, Riku Sanjo requested Terada to adapt this Dopant's design into the Reactor Dopant and finally used it in the manga Futo Tantei.[1]
