The Imperial Guard (近衛隊, Konoe Tai) is an armed force and honour guard unit that protects the Emperor Maya within the territory of the Magic Land. The Imperial Guard Soldiers (近衛兵, Konoe Hei) in the army can transform into Kamen Rider Mage (仮面ライダーメイジ, Kamen Raidā Meiji).
