Hiroshi Midorikawa (緑川 弘, Midorikawa Hiroshi) is a former Shocker scientist who helped Takeshi Hongo escape, and thus was killed by the Shocker agent Man Spider. He had a daughter, Ruriko Midorikawa.
History[]
Hiroshi Midorikawa was a professor at Johnan University and teacher of Takeshi Hongo. He was abducted by Shocker and forced to cooperate with the organization in exchange for the safety of his daughter, Ruriko Midorikawa. He was forced to recommend Takeshi Hongo as a candidate for remodeling, but when Hongo was kidnapped and made into a modified human, he couldn't bear his remorse and decided to betray Shocker. He interrupted Hongo's operation by turning off the base's power generator, prompting Hongo to escape from the base together.
After that, as a living witness, Professor Midorikawa planned to reveal the reality of Shocker to the public. But when Hongo left, he was attacked by the Man Spider and died. At this time, he was planning to meet his daughter through Tobee Tachibana's assistance. Ruriko initially misunderstood the incident believing that Hongo killed her father, only to learn the truth days later that Shocker was behind it.
