Haruki (春樹) is the son of Hazuki and Kiyoharu Usagami. In the future, he is the true identity of the God Jyamato (ゴッドジャマト, Goddo Jamato), a Jyamato that is capable of causing the extinction of humanity.
History[]
Haruki is the child born between Kiyoharu Usagami and Hazuki, thus being a half-Jyamato hybrid. As a result, he grows at an unusually fast rate, gaining the body and intelligence of a ten year-old human in less than a year. Due to his unique nature, he is cautioned by his parents to leave their apartment without permission, and to outsiders, he appears as a wandering ghost.
When his father gets killed by unknown police officer, Haruki accompanied his mother and got themselves to safety. Feeling the gaping divide between humans and Jyamato, Haruki crosses paths with Michinaga Azuma, who protects him from Jyamato assailants sent by Aoto. Learning Michinaga is also a human mixed with Jyamato genes, Haruki trusts him and brings him to his mother for protection.
His reunion with Hazuki takes a tragic turn when she succumbs to wounds inflicted by Aoto. Witnessing his mother's demise amplified Haruki's hatred for the world, nearly turning him into the God Jyamato. Fortunately, Michinaga manages to embrace him and persuaded Haruki to honor his mother's memory by finding his own happiness, and that until Haruki could find it himself, Michinaga won't leave him alone. This quelled his destructive power and averted his catastrophic destiny. Afterwards, Haruki is left under the care of both Michinaga and Daichi Isuzu.
