Cobra (コブラ, Kobura) is the brainwashed state of Haruhiko Mitamura (三田村 晴彦, Mitamura Haruhiko), he is a special class soldier assigned to Bat's squadron, and later works independently alongside his romantic interest.
Character History[]
Haruhiko is a boy who has been hospitalized for a long time at Midoriyama General Hospital. Since no one came to visit him, he was desperate and was forced to commit suicide, but when he met Miyoko, he found the meaning of living and decided to spend time with her. However, at the invitation of Spider, a messenger from Shocker, he becomes a cyborg Cobra on the condition that Miyoko's illness must be cured. The main task is to eliminate the traitor, and the Rider suffers with his overwhelming strength and combination with Snake. At the end, he is mortally wounded by Kamen Rider 1's Hammer Kick and when he showed a single Gerbera flower he planted on Miyoko's lifeless body, he died at the limit of his body.

Cobra
Cobra is a cyborg which Haruhiko transforms by wearing a special reinforced suit and a mask. The tentacle on the back of the head is removable and is mainly used by Snake as a whip. He also has an smelling amplification device and climbing ability. Despite his sleek appearance, Cobra possesses great durability as well, managing to withstand a Double Rider Punch and continue fighting Takeshi.
Likely from their similar designs, Cobra and Snake possess great compatibility with one another, proving to be a serious threat for the Double Riders in their fight. Cobra alone easily overpowered Takeshi and Hayato simultaneously at first, being far superior to them in pure hand-to-hand combat.

Haruhiko Mitamura is portrayed by Eiji Wentz (ウエンツ 瑛士, Uentsu Eiji). As Cobra, his suit actor is Mizuho Yoshida (吉田 瑞穂, Yoshida Mizuho).
Basis[]
Cobra is based on Cobra Man, who had a girlfriend called Snake Woman Medusa in the original manga, whose real name was Myoko.
Trivia[]
- Throughout the film, it is never revealed why Shocker elected Haruhiko (a gravely ill person) to become its member, nor why they would convert him into a highly modified Kaijin.
