This article is about a Rider in Kamen Rider Revice. |
Hana Natsuki (夏木 花, Natsuki Hana), previously known as Aguilera (アギレラ, Agirera), is the former Queen of the Deadmans who transformed into the Queen Bee Deadman (クイーンビー・デッドマン, Kuīn Bī Deddoman). After her defection and reformation, she joined Weekend and transforms into Kamen Rider Aguilera (仮面ライダーアギレラ, Kamen Raidā Agirera).
History[]
Background[]
Hana Natsuki was raised within the cult of the Deadmans since she was a toddler, where she was given the name "Aguilera". As a child, she was selected by Giff to be his fiancee and spent her life being groomed to be his bride. Unbeknownst to her, Aguilera was actually intended to be the sixth sacrifice and an untainted vessel to revive Giff.
The Deadmans Crisis[]
Aguilera, along with Orteca and Julio, were first seen leading the Deadmans' rally and embraces her dormant fiancé, Giff. Aguilera participated in the attack on the Fenix ceremony with their army of Giff Juniors. The Deadmans march forward to declare their intentions to create hell on Earth, before the executives made their leave. In the end, Ikki Igarashi managed to contract with his demon, Vice, in order to become Kamen Riders Revi and Vice to combat the Deadmans.
While she and her accomplices continue to spawn more Deadmans for their cause, the Deadmans would form an alliance with Kamen Rider Evil, to implode the Igarashi Family. Aguilera would form a little rivalry with Sakura Igarashi, mocking the latter's combat expertise by simply dodging them. While she ridiculed Sakura's weaknesses, Aguilera became quite very interest in Sakura, offering her a place with the Deadmans to gain the strength she desires. Aguilera was then intrigued of Sakura taking up the Libera Driver and still offers her to join the Deadmans at her side with Giff. Whether she joined them or not, she's still happy for her after she finally transformed.
Beyond Generations[]
Aguilera, along with her fellow Deadmans executives, ventured into an old Shocker base to release the demon Diablo. They also carried the Crisper Stamps, containing the genetic information of historical figures. The Deadmans joined along Diablo's plan to enact world domination. This led to Fenix's Kamen Riders joining forces with the Sword of Logos.
She arrived in Alaska to create a pillar of light. However, they are intercepted by Kamen Rider Demons, Sabela, and Durendal. However, the Deadmans executive put up an immense fight against the three heroes and withdrew after completing their mission. In the end, Diablo would be defeated and the plot to fully reawaken his power was foiled.
The Giff Ceremony[]
With the Deadmans close to obtain six Giftex, Aguilera prepared for her wedding ceremony with Giff. After the Chameleon Deadman secured the Giff Stamp, Orteca revealed that her true purpose was to become the final sacrifice as Giff's vessel. She was restrained and forced to become the center of the ritual. Despite being unsettled by this revelation, Aguilera seemingly accepted her fate. During the sacrificial ceremony, Fenix broke into Deadmans' base and prevented the ceremony from being completed.
After being rescued by Kamen Riders Revi and Vice, Aguilera fell in anguish after seeing the Deadmans' base destroyed and Giff's casket being seized by Fenix. With Julio being the only person left to support her, Aguilera uses the Queen Bee Proto Vistamp to become the Queen Bee Deadman, tainting her from being Giff's pure vessel. Aguilera proceeded to lash out at Orteca for his betrayal, before escaping with Julio. After reverting back to human form, she is convinced that Giff's blessing remains, and hides in an abandoned factory with Julio, vowing to revive him.
Finding True Purpose[]
With Orteca taking over the Deadmans' activities, Aguilera couldn't restrain her anger over his betrayal. Causing Julio to become Go Tamaki again, Sakura found Aguilera's hiding place, trying to persuade her to give up the idea of resurrecting Giff. Aguilera sternly rejected Sakura, and the two turned into a fight. In the end, Aguilera was defeated and left angrily not wanting to be found by her again.
In order to snatch the Giff Stamp from Orteca, Ikki and Sakura proposed a deal to Aguilera and the two sides cooperated to defeat Orteca. In the end, the Giff Stamp was obtained by Aguilera, but she did not return the item as promised. Sakura went to ask for the Giff Stamp, and the two fought again. In the end, Aguilera was defeated by Sakura again, who finds Aguilera has become weaker than ever. The Giff Stamp that Aguilera had was later revealed to be a fake that Orteca prepared in advance.
Aguilera thought about what Sakura said, and dismissed Tamaki claiming he has no powers to protect her, not wanting Tamaki to be involved in her dangerous battles. Aguilera approached Orteca and offered to cooperate, rejoining the Deadmans' operations. However, she quickly becomes unsettled with how Orteca has heartlessly sacrificed many of their followers into Gifftarians.
Aguilera ended up following Giff as it starts to recover his power by consuming human and Gifftarians. As Giff turned Vice against Sakura and Daiji, Aguilera asked Giff on what should she do and if she still suitable as Giff's vessel. Giff then proceeded to seemingly comfort her, but quickly slapped and rejected her, much to Aguilera's shock. Orteca then appeared and mocked her as the "Empress' New Clothes" due to her inability to become Giff's vessel as a Deadman. After Revice manages to defeat Orteca, a mentally broken Aguilera leaves in silence, much to Tamaki's grief & Sakura's concern. Afterwards, she burns her Deadman outfit in a back alley, bidding a final farewell to Deadmans.
The Reformed Queen[]
Aguilera then approached Sakura wanting to fight and end her life by her hands, though Sakura saw Aguilera as a hinderance now. After Sakura began to have issues with Lovekov, she realized that Aguilera's separation from her demon needed to be done by her personally. In need to learn the beauty of human life, Aguilera was asked out by Sakura to hang out with her. After a date at the amusement park, the two have their final duel to the death, and Jeanne liberates Aguilera from her contract with a new Vistamp made by George. With that, Aguilera went back to her previous name "Hana Natsuki", becoming Sakura's loving best friend and a member of Weekend.
- "I am Hana Natsuki, also known as Kamen Rider Aguilera!"
- ―Hana embracing her sinned past as Aguilera.[src]
Although she was able to enjoy her new life as Hana, she was only able to help Sakura by standing on the sidelines. As Weekend began to act in the frontlines following Akaishi's public meltdown, Hana is targeted by Vail as a means of breaking Sakura, but Tamaki gets kidnapped in her stead instead. Seeking to atone for her past sins and saving Tamaki, she requests Masumi Karizaki to undergo a "final test" and is given the purified Queen Bee Vistamp. Encouraged to embrace her past, she picks up the Week Endriver to become Kamen Rider Aguilera and stood her ground against Vail.
Fighting Giff[]
As the war against Giff escalates even further, Hana begins to actively partake in Weekend's assaults on Giff's army. At this time, she would clash with both Daiji and Akaishi in protecting the shelters. She would then gather with the others to hear Masumi's last words before going for one final showdown against Akaishi.
During the Igarashi siblings' scuffle against each other, Hana would look over Masumi, who is actively dying. When his condition becomes critical, Hana immediately goes to George and tries to convince him to talk to his father before it's too late, but her attempt was coldly brushed off by George.
Shortly after Ikki and Daiji sealed Giff, Hana would join the others on locating Orteca, who is revealed to have survived. When taunted by Orteca about their crimes as Deadmans executives, Hana responded that she would give herself up to the authorities and paid for her sins when the conflict with Giff is over.
She and Sakura would then go into battle against an army of Gifftarians, but become concerned of the latter's issue with Lovekov. When Sakura endangered herself due to it, Hana reprimanded her and told her to stay out of the fight until she ironed out her issue with Lovekov. When she returned into the fight, she received an unexpected but welcomed assistance from Tamaki as Over Demons. Together, they managed to fend off the army of Gifftarians.
Battle Familia[]
Price of Transformation[]
Once the war against Giff is over, Hana makes good on her words to Orteca, in which she decided to undergo trial for her past actions as part of Deadmans. However, on her way there, she is ambushed by George as Juuga, destroying her driver and injuring her in the process. She would later be hospitalized along with Tamaki and be visited by Daiji and Sakura Igarashi. After a deep conversation with them, they decided to support Ikki's battle against Karizaki to solve the scientist's internal issue, resulting in Ikki losing his memories of his siblings.
A few days after Ikki had moved out with Vice to an old Fenix dorm, after Vice gathered the entire family and their friends for his plan to make Ikki regain his memories of his family, Hana joins along his plan to trick Ikki into fighting Vice for the contract would end. However, doing this would result in Vice disappearing. While this plan appeared to have worked, Ikki began to realize something is wrong and easily deduced Vice and everyone had orchestrated their final battle. Hana watched as Ikki and Vice transformed into Ultimate Revice, deciding to battle on much friendlier terms. Everyone present was able to tearfully laugh in happiness and cheer on for the both of them. As the battle concluded, Tamaki watched Ikki's and Vice's final moments and with that, Ikki's memories of his family are restored. A few months later, Hana would join Daiji in building a new organization called Blue Bird along with Hiromi and Tamaki while also repenting for her crimes as a Deadmans member.

Juuga VS Orteca[]
She pretends to be one of Orteca's cultists then gives Orteca a handshake and said how it was a pleasure to meet him, only to remove her face cover and threaten to give her ex-fellow a beatdown, scaring Orteca enough to make him run away in fear.
She later appeared with Hiromi to stop Isao Saikawa and Michiru Haruyama from summoning their Deadmen then disarm them. After Juuga defeats the Homo Gifftex, Hiromi arrests the scientist while he asks Orteca for help, to which the genius exclaims he doesn't work under anymore for he will make the world his, with Hana remarking how Orteca hasn't changed at all.
Personality[]
As Aguilera, she has a sinisterly carefree demeanor, not liking being told what to do. She is also confident in herself, having proved to Julio that she can protect herself. This causes her to manifest that mentality and transform into a Deadman.
She has been groomed from childhood to be what she believed was Giff's wife, and paid little mind when told she was actually a sacrifice for his full revival. Due to her conditioning, she showed disgust over George being curious about Giff and was reluctant to be saved by both Ikki and Sakura. She broke down in tears after witnessing the apparent death of Giff. After learning of her true purpose for the Deadmans and stepping down, Aguilera started to become more aloof, even affecting her focus on the fight, making Sakura able to defeat her in ease.
After losing to Sakura numerous times, Aguilera still decided to do her best to meet Giff once more, even if it meant joining with Orteca. However, the time that Aguilera had spent with Julio/Tamaki had started to change her personality. Aguilera kicked Tamaki in hopes that Sakura would take care of him instead, and is even disgusted to see Orteca using his followers to become Gifftarians. After Giff rejects her, Aguilera is left mentally broken and ultimately discards her Deadmans attire after Orteca's death.
Aguilera seeks out Sakura to settle things and yet Sakura feels unhinged on her resolve. Aguilera was then asked out by Sakura to have fun together before their final battle, which gave her happy memories as a human to have.
Upon being defeated by Sakura one last time and given a new purpose, she began to genuinely show a cheerful side as Hana Natsuki, but at the same time rejecting her past. After joining Weekend, she expressed a desire to atone for her sins and took pride in the name Kamen Rider "Aguilera" on the recommendation of Masumi. After spending some time with Sakura, the two developed a very close friendship, even getting into teasing and squabbling with each other like a couple.

Queen Bee Genome (クイーンビーゲノム, Kuīn Bī Genomu) is Aguilera's queen bee-based primary form accessed by using the Queen Bee Vistamp in the Week Endriver.
Due to the Week Endriver being a mass-production version of the Libera Driver, all of Aguilera's statistics are lower than Kamen Rider Jeanne. However, Hana's aptitude results in an improvement in performance, allowing Aguilera to fight evenly against Vail. Aguilera utilizes an agile fighting style in which she carries out rapid, consecutive attacks and performs acrobatic maneuvers to dodge the enemy. She also targets the opponent's weak points, such as their legs. By deploying four orange insect wings from her back, Aguilera is able to fly.
Aguilera is equipped the Needle Kunai (ニードルクナイ, Nīdoru Kunai), a pair of Genome Weapons specialized for high speed combat that can be used as either hand-held blades or throwing weapons with a homing function that tracks the target. Aguilera is also able to launch numerous smaller kunai made of orange energy.
Queen Bee Genome consists of the following parts:
- Queen Bee Head (クイーンビーヘッド, Kuīn Bī Heddo): The head.
- Queen Bee Tiara (クイーンビーティアラ, Kuīn Bī Tiara): The flight equipment. It enables flight by deploying energy wings. In addition, the built-in attitude control device supports three-dimensional combat.
- Needle Top (ニードルトップ, Nīdoru Toppu): The facial armor. The strong conical armor rapidly dampens impacts to the head and protects the user.
- Bee Eye (ビーアイ, Bī Ai): The compound eyes. Rigidity is increased by taking a dense form with a hexagonal visual device. This allows for a larger light-receiving area, and it boasts excellent color reproducibility.
- Crusher Bee (クラッシャービー, Kurasshā Bī): The oral cavity. Part of the Global Geno Suit β reinforced suit, it increases the oxygen supply and has a special filter that removes harmful substances to maintain the life of the user.
- Queen Bee Deco Breast (クイーンビーデコブレスト, Kuīn Bī Deko Buresuto): The chest armor. The power of the Queen Bee Genome generates the Queen Bee Hive (クイーンビーハイブ, Kuīn Bī Haibu), a high-density energy field which can fire fire medium-range support attack-type bees named the Queen With Bee (クイーンウィズビー, Kuīn Uizu Bī) as well as the ultra-high temperature compressed Queen Bee Dew (クイーンビーデュー, Kuīn Bī Diu).
- Global Genosuit β (グローバルゲノスーツβ, Gurōbaru Genosūtsu Beta): The reinforced suit. It transforms the user into a Kamen Rider by reconfiguring the genetic information of the biological species supplied by the Week Endriver and changing it into an ability. This broadens the range of eligible people and achieves a high degree of versatility by greatly suppressing the burden when equipped.
- Bee Power Ribbon (ビーパワーリボン, Bī Pauwa Ribon): The augmented energy path. By reading the consciousness of the user and quickly supplying additional energy to the parts that require the most energy, the power of various attacks is enhanced.
- Bee Arm (ビーアーム, Bī Amu): The arms. The queen bee's light movements are added to the physical abilities enhanced by the energy supplied from the Global Geno Suit β in order excel in high-speed swordsmanship.
- Bee Glove (ビーグローブ, Bī Gurabu): The gloves. They enhance punching power and minimize recoil, thereby raising the user combat power. They also have the ability to flexibly adapt to any weapon.
- Bee Leg (ビーレッグ, Bī Reggu) - The legs. The queen bee's flying ability is added to the physical abilities enhanced by the Global Geno Suit β to demonstrate magnificent and acrobatic combat
- Bee Boot (ビーブーツ, Bī Butsu): The boots. By receiving the operation of the Week Endriver and gathering high density energy supplied through the Bee Power Ribbon augmented energy path on the surface of the sole, the finishing move Queen Bee Stamping Break can be activated.
This form has the following finishers:
- Week Endriver finishers:
- Queen Bee Stamping Break (クイーンビースタンピングブレイク, Kuīn Bī Sutanpingu Bureiku): This finisher has five variations.
- Aguilera forms a sphere of golden honey-like energy from her hand and fires it a sustained stream at the enemy. The stream produced a shockwave of golden energy upon initially striking the enemy and continually bombards them, eventually resulting in an explosion.
- Aguilera's leg is covered in magenta energy and surrounded by a burst of red energy. The energy covering her leg is then strengthened and accompanied by additional crimson and yellow energy. Aguilera performs a roundhouse kick, producing a trail of the energy covering her leg. The kick releases a large amount of red energy upon impact and launches the enemy away.
- Aguilera grabs an enemy and flies into the air with them. She releases the opponent, resulting in them continuing to move forward, while she flies higher into the air by herself. Aguilera then performs a flying kick that produces waves of orange and gold energy. The opponent crashes into a building and bounces off before Aguilera's kick strikes them, producing a shockwave and smashing the enemy into the building a second time. The surrounding wall is destroyed even more as a result shortly before the enemy explodes.
- Aguilera covers the blades of the Needle Kunai with yellow energy and uses them to parry the attacks of two enemies. She pushes the opponents away and delivers an X-shaped orange energy slash using both Needle Kunai, destroying them and resulting in an explosion. She then swings the Needle Kunai, launching several smaller kunai made of yellow energy at two more enemies. The kunai strike the opponents, causing them to explode as well.
- Aguilera jumps into the air as a mechanical bee flies beside her. The bee then turns gold and merges with her foot, causing it to be surrounded by spiraling gold energy along with red and gold lightning as Aguilera performs a lying kick. The kick produces more red lightning upon impact and shatters the target.
- Queen Bee Stamping Destroy (クイーンビースタンピングデストロイ, Kuīn Bī Sutanpingu Desutoroi): This finisher has four variations.
- Aguilera covers the blades of the Needle Kunai with red and yellow energy before slashing the enemy with one of them. She then uses both weapons to stab the opponent's feet, pinning them to the ground.
- Aguilera uses the Needle Kunai to deliver a series of yellow energy slashes to multiple enemies. She first performs a slash using each Needle Kunai individually, then uses both weapons together to perform two spinning slashes. Finally, she swings both Needle Kunai forward to perform two slashes simultaneously.
- Aguilera generates numerous orange energy kunai in a circle around herself before launching them at the opponent. The kunai home in on the enemy and follow them.
- Aguilera covers the blades of the Needle Kunai with red and yellow energy before delivering a series of red energy slashes to an enemy, consisting of two horizontal slashes followed by an upward slash. Aguilera then rolls onto the ground in order to avoid the attacks of a second opponent. She stabs both enemies with the Needle Kunai, impaling them with streams of orange energy before causing them to explode.
- Queen Bee Stamping Break (クイーンビースタンピングブレイク, Kuīn Bī Sutanpingu Bureiku): This finisher has five variations.
- "Rebuddy Up! Yeah! Buffalo! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow!"
- ―Transformation announcement[src]
By using the Buffalo Vistamp in the Week Endriver, Aguilera can transform her inner demon into its buffalo and Kamen Rider OOO-based Buffalo Genome (バッファローゲノム, Baffarō Genomu). In this form, she is equipped with a pair of large wind-and-fire wheels that can be used to perform red, yellow, and green energy slashes. They can be wielded as handheld weapons or thrown as projectiles, in which case Aguilera can telepathically control their course as they fly through the air.
This form has the following finishers:
- Week Endriver finishers:
- Buffalo Stamping Destroy (バッファロースタンピングデストロイ, Baffarō Sutanpingu Desutoroi): Aguilera's weapons float beside her and spin while covered in energy that continually changes between red, green, and yellow. Aguilera then sends the spinning wheels flying at the opponent, producing a yellow shockwave upon impact.

Although Sakura generally dislikes Aguilera, she came to sympathize with her after learning of her origins with the group. After Sakura learned to harness her own strength and weaknesses into become Kamen Rider Jeanne, the feat had amazed Aguilera, though it quickly faltered after Fenix had raided and destroyed the Deadmans Base, leaving Aguilera essentially homeless. When Sakura, out of sympathy, attempted to help Aguilera return to a normal human life, she refused as Giff was all she wants in the world. Feeling betrayed by Orteca's actions, she runs to Sakura for help, questioning her path to strength. And after Giff rejects her for becoming a Deadman, Sakura gets more concerned of her well-being. Eventually, Sakura succeeds in her resolve, separating Aguilera from her demon, returning her as Hana and becoming true loving friends in the process, before eventually getting her to join Weekend. Finding her own resolve as both herself and Aguilera amazed Sakura, when she became a rider to fight against Vail. Later, when Daiji became the enemy, Hana hugs her in comfort. Their bond later remained strong after that with Weekend disbanded in Giff's defeat.

Behind the Scenes[]
Portrayal[]
- Hana Natsuki/Aguilera is portrayed by Yui Asakura (浅倉 唯, Asakura Yui), later credited as Hikari Kabashima (椛島 光, Kabashima Hikari) in her appearances from Kamen Rider Juuga VS Kamen Rider Orteca going forward. As a child, she is portrayed by Risa Kaneko (金子 莉彩, Kaneko Risa).
- As the Queen Bee Deadman and Kamen Rider Aguilera, her suit actress is Nana Hayashimoto (林本 奈々, Hayashimoto Nana), with Mutsumi Igarashi (五十嵐 睦美, Igarashi Mutsumi) acting as Hayashimoto's substitute in episode 17.
Etymology[]
- Aguilera is a surname of Spanish origin. It is related to the Latin word aquilaria, which means "eagle’s nest".
Notes[]
- The Queen Bee Deadman and Kamen Rider Aguilera is a homage to Wasp Woman, the first female monster in the Kamen Rider franchise.
- During the initial press conference for Kamen Rider Revice, Aguilera wanted revenge against Fenix for using her parents in human experimentation. In the final product, there's no indication of Aguilera harboring a grudge against Fenix and appeared to be orphaned from the series' start.[3]
- Aguilera was originally going to be killed off before production decided to keep her character alive. The original plans would've had her be devoured by Giff after reawakening from his slumber.[4]
- Unlike Orteca and Go Tamaki/Julio, who both use existing Rider powers that have already been named (and are both accessed via the Demons Driver), Hana's Rider powers use her old Deadmans' identity as its name.
