Hiromi (ヒロミ)[2] is a high-ranking executive who serves Shocker as Hachi Augment-01 (ハチオーグ, Hachi Ōgu, Hachi-Aug).[3][4]
History[]
Hachi Augment-01, originally codenamed "Hiromi", was the result of SHOCKER's artificial womb experiments and grew up in the organization with Ruriko and a younger brother named Toru. Although she's survived her mutation into Hachi-Augment, Toru doesn't survive since human-plant mutation is hard to do, due to their different structures.[5]
In the film, Hachi-Aug is shown at her base, welcoming Ruriko and Hongo who are guided by her aide. Both Ruriko and Hachi-Aug ask each other to leave Shocker & rejoin Shocker respectively. Hachi-Aug then explained that a new global system must be created with Submission as a mean of the Slaves happiness and Domination as a mean of her happiness. Predictably, both Ruriko and Hongo rejects Hachi-Aug offer, leaving her with no choice but to deal them with force. After Hachi-Aug finishes her transformation by sapping two Shocker henchmens prana, Hongo decides to retreat with Ruriko as Hachi-Aug broughts several controlled slaves inside her base to corner them. This turn of events prompted Hachi-Aug to capture both of them by mobilizing her slaves.
Hachi-Aug is later seen on the rooftop after she successfully lures Ruriko back using her controlled slaves. Hachi-Aug taunts Ruriko for fighting solo against her since Hongo is nowhere to be seen, only for Ruriko to exclaim that she put her trust with the Kamen Rider. Unbeknownst to the Female Augment, Hongo is skydiving from a plane in order to successfully destroy a part of her base before rejoin Ruriko on the rooftop, thus freeing the people minds from Hachi-Aug control. Seemingly unfazed by this turn of event, Hachi-Aug took her Katana from her aide, stating that Wasps are always the Grasshopper's Natural enemy, before they attacked Hongo simultaneously. Although their joint effort manage to damage Hongo's body armor, Hongo's strength is proven superior against them. Left with no other choice, Hachi-Aug sapped her aide's Prana to complete her transformation, with Hongo once again transformed into Kamen Rider.
Hachi-Aug then gives one of her Katana to Hongo, so that they're on the same standing. As they battle, Hachi-Aug expressed her desire to make Ruriko cry by killing Hongo. Due to her ferocity and super speed, Hongo's Katana snapped and Hachi-Aug manages to stab him, although her blade stopped Midway. Hongo took this chance to counter-attack by snapping her Katana as well as swatting her aside. Hachi-Aug seemingly accepted her fate as Hongo is about to finish her off with a rider kick, only for the latter to miss on purpose.
As Hongo is unable to bring himself to finish her off, since by doing so it'll sadden Ruriko, Hachi-Aug admitted her defeat as she cancelled her transformation. Ruriko explained that since she had no friend outside of Shocker, she doesn't want to kill her. However, before Hachi-Aug could reply, she is shot by the intelligence official who just arrived. Hachi-Aug Initially underestimate the bullet that pierces her chest, but when the wound starts to bleed, she realized that the bullet is filled with SV1 (Scorpion Virus), thus fatally wounding her. Hachi-Aug dropped down and lament that she actually wants Ruriko to be the one who killed her instead before disintegrating into foam. Her demise greatly saddened Ruriko, ironically fulfilling her desire to make Ruriko cry.
Personality[]
Hachi Augment-01 enjoys domination and is aiming to reconstruct society and realize a controlled global system based on slavery. She is responsible for supplying most of the human resources to the organization. She has an indescribable love-hate towards Ruriko.[5] She has a fair mindset when it comes to fighting, and will try to win the fight on the same terms.[6] Hachi Augment-01 is the best swordfighter within the organization, so she is very particular about swords.[7]

Her present form after emerging from a chrysalis state. Like Kamen Rider, she is one of the Midorikawa Group's Synthetic Insect-Hybrid Augments.[6]

- Katana: Her katana can stab the opponent and make them suffer and writhe. It's a terrifying poisonous sword that serves as a poisonous stinger like a wasp. Furthermore, Hachi-Aug Katana is sharp enough to cut through Hongo's Body Armor.[7]

- Prana Absorption: Hachi-Aug can sap another living being of their Prana by touching them with her hands. She usually does this after transforming, claiming that taking the target’s Prana will complete her transformation, with the donor presumably dying after the process.
- Wings: Hachi-Aug can summon two pairs of bee-like wings made from prana.
- Enchanced Speed: To compensate her low physical prowess, Hachi-Aug can move at blinding speed to the point that Hongo is hardly able to catch her movements.

- Hachi Augment is a composite character between Wasp Woman and Hiromi Nohara, a friend of Ruriko Midorikawa in the original Kamen Rider. In the manga version, Hiromi was killed by the Bat Man which left a strong impact on Ruriko, similar to the film's interpretation.
- Concept art of Hachi Augment shows her wearing a Typhoon-like belt underneath her kimono. This would explain her ability to return to human form, and is plausible considering she was an Augment created by Hiroshi Midorikawa like Batta Augment-01
